Agree. I also think our guys are gonna wanna win this one decisively for Kerr.

Not too far off.

Think tomorrow is a much harder win. Ucla is finally healthy after being banged up for a while. I’ve learned never to doubt this team, but it’s a tall order tomorrow with our PG out. Was Kier hurt too?

Anyone else a little surprised they're having him put weight on it? Either the injury isn't nearly as bad as first thought, or Kriisa's recovery speed is some next level shit.

I think treatment has changed over the years. Just like getting an artificial knee, they get you up and moving the next day.

So crazy. Was wondering if the movement right after the injury keeps it from swelling up.

Whatever it is...gotta trust that his doc and the trainers know what tf they're doing.

Sometimes it's good to air out the wound right? In all seriousness that's part of the strategy nowadays. I'm no expert, but I believe the quicker he starts putting some pressure on it (after the initial rest period) the quicker it'll heal/respond.

Anybody smarter than me want to correct me if I'm wrong?

So maybe I’m just a devious motherfucker and this is what I’d do, but I thought this might be a move to show the committee that Kerr would be back for the tourney and not to punish us for his absence. I thought the Seth Davis leak was in a similar vein.

As soon as the doc says he can’t injure it further, fuck yeah, wear sandals and jump up and down and throw them into the crowd. Anything to show anyone with a vote that we deserve a 1 seed as close to home as possible because we are about to fuck shit up with Kriisa back and good to go.

I heard a local interview with a physician who specializes in the injury, and talked about inward ankle roll sprains of the 2nd-3rd degree, which this apparently is. He said it would take a player three weeks to come back from that, but speaking from a reality standpoint, he thinks the player will rush it. In that case, he said the medical staff could tape him up very effectively and have him on the floor in one week. As a medical professional, he said he disagreed with it not because the player wouldn't play effectively, but because he'd increase his risk of injuring something else while favoring the injured part.

That’s correct, grade 2 take 4-6weeks to fully heal, and the risk is for injuries from compensation. At this point they’ll tape it good and let him roll. If they can talk him out of game one and two based on the match ups, getting one more week would help immensely. Or splitting time with him and DT.

Hell of a team we have here, eh boys?
