I get that, lk. But I saw his reduced minutes as a result of his shoddy defense. His offensive spurts were nice when they came, but we didn't really need his points as the season progressed. PJC started playing much better offensively, RA became more confident attacking the rim and drawing fouls, and Trier was Trier. So when Kobi started playing less, I just inferred that CSM wasn't impressed with what he brought on defense. I mean, if CSM felt better with PJC guarding taller guys, that tells me something about Kobi. Maybe he just needs more time. I get that he's young.

I don't disagree and that's half of what I was getting at by character miss. He didn't put the effort into what would have kept him on the floor.
PJC does what Miller tells him to, even if he sucks at doing it.

Only so many minutes to go around. Hypothetically speaking, if we have Trier, Alkins and Johnson don't see Randolph taking minutes from any of them. You have to think Trier and Alkins get 30 minutes each, that only leaves 20 minutest. Cam Johnson has to be promised 20 minutes for him to even consider UofA.

I'm not convinced Arizona has Trier, Alkins, and Johnson next year is my point and obviously neither is Miller hence why he's pursuing Johnson. Doesn't mean anything is a done deal, but you have to be prepared in this business.

After doing further research Cam Johnson is actually more of a combo forward, so Trier, Alkins, and him could work just fine with him getting minutes at the 3 and 4.

We're still in for a good couple of months of unknown though unfortunately.

I don't think that it is "wack" at all. If he's a better player, and gives Arizona a better chance at winning a Natty, then I want him at Arizona, plain and simple. Randolph and Lee could use a year to learn the system, get minutes here and there, and be major contributors in 2018. I see them both in a role similar to what Chance played his freshman year. These guys are 4 stars, I don't expect them to come into a program like Arizona and play right off the bat, nor do I want them too.

Randolph is (in my opinion) the one who will demand minutes the most, asap, of that group. I'm not sold on Smith and Lee may need some development time and finding a college position.

I'm not convinced Duval steals Jackson's point guard job if he returns. Jackson is a damn good player and already has a year of outstanding ball under his belt. Then Allen comes back. Trent Jr is another guy who will get good minutes. Seems like Duval is waiting on something.
