He had back surgery while at Duke too, and after his injury last year he hasn't been the same. Now he claims back spasms after Miller says that the starting lineup is going to change, with all speculation on Jeter being the one.

I just don't expect him to be a factor rest of the season, after being the star of a poor team the first half of last season, until injured,

Lmao not a hair stylist

Not to pile on, Chase seems like a good dude, but he's gotta be one of the softest players to wear an Az Jersey during Miller's tenure. It's so frustrating to watch sometimes.

He would have an NBA career if he had a 3 point shot.

If this team had a senior Channing Frye at the 5, good night everyone.

Channing was 100 X better than Jeter... not just the 3pt shot.

Why doesn't Jeter have a soft Shannon/Charmin/Ham Sandwich nickname like Channing had as an underclassman?

Think I am going to try and stay positive and hope Jeter can find and accept a role that really helps the team. Maybe he is our Donnell Harris?

I admit to being in the "Jeter is soft as downy toilet paper" camp...however...

Hear me out...

I never would have imagined at the start of this season I'd be praising Dylan Smith or ira Lee...BOTH of those guys had multiple issues with their game and every time they touched the ball I clinched my butt a little...however...they have progressively gotten better and the Colo game was one of the best demonstrations of Millers faith in his own players...

So I'm gonna wait out Jeter to see how Miller uses him...so far Sean has been more right than I have.

Saw that. It was after the loss to St Johns. Hard to pin that loss on him individually. The whole team stunk it up

Darren Rovell promoted the shit out of that psycho on social media and is now acting like there was some kind of journalistic purpose behind sending his followers to his site to get betting advice.

So out of 307 athletes, professional, college, etc., their main focus is to identify and speculate about two University of Arizona players (current and former)...

This has ESPN written all over it...

Let's also thank intrepid gambling reporter, Darren Rovell, for calling attention to this fucking kid because Darrell can't help get those Twitter mentions.

I merged in the "this does not look good" topic into this thread.

Also, why would anyone be worried about this or think it doesnt look good?

We had 1 former athlete and 1 current athlete receive threats/bad messages from this gambler, and from the reporting, our 1 current athlete responded to it quite well.
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

It's a national story and KVOA cherry picked the Arizona angle to make it worth mentioning. Nothing more. Nothing less. The guy in question messaged hundreds of professional and college athletes. If you're inferring something about Arizona in the article, then you're a bit paranoid.

The guy was on the all tourney team and played great in Anaheim. I think he was just weak when it came to accepting or even being criticized. He was our best player last year. Don't know what happened.

I think that his multiple back injuries slowed him down a bit, and if he can't play at a high level he doesn't want to play at all.

Not saying that's what it is.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Does Chase even like basketball? He really looked disinterested his last month or so playing for Arizona.
