Bad news, my video card died. Good news, I should still be able to stream the game.

Do the Bearcats didn’t shoot like they did yesterday and got beat bad by Ohio St. Just wish teams didn’t have so many career days against us. Not sure if it’s them or our poor defense

Looking at Cincy's box score: it's like night and day compared to yesterday. SMDH

Larson seemed out of sorts due to early foul trouble.
I only recall Bal taking one shot. Not sure why, maybe CTL told him to work on passing?
There were about 4 possessions in a row where Vessar was guarding 2-3 steps off his guy and the guy just shot it over him. After the last one CTL put Ballo in. I wonder if he is used to his height being such a deterrent that he can guard people from so far away. It won’t work here, especially if he doesn’t keep his hands up.

Two good teams - fun game to watch

Both teams played starters heavily, tomorrow could be tough!

Creighton’s PG & Center are really good!

I told everyone that I saw some Kemba Walker in Ramey... he proved me right. Kemba torched Maui and led UCONN to the title the same year. Hope Ramey does the same.

This offense is sick. 2nd in 3P% and 1st in 2P%. 3rd in offensive efficiency and averaging over 100 points a game.

This.

The ball screen defense was 100x better compared to the game with Cinci.

Cincinnati shot lights out against us. Regressed to their mean against TOSU. Not surprising.

Even though our competition has stepped up, our offensive numbers are still high. That's because we move and share the ball, and have a number of players capable of winning 1 in 1 matchups. Throw in good shooters, and we're very hard to defend.

Win or lose today, this team has raised my expectations this week. We can do big things. Really need Larsson to get more involved, and we need Bal and Boswell to contribute. Why didn’t Boswell play much last night, btw? 2 minutes?

He couldn't get the ball up the court. It was too big of a situation for a 17 year old kid. He will be fine but last night wasn't the night for him to get experience

You could tell Tommy didn’t want to destroy the kid’s confidence by having him bring the ball up against that kind of pressure defense played by some grown-ass men.

I actually thought he played more than 2 minutes, but maybe those 2 minutes just felt like 10 because he was so flustered with the ball in his hands.

I wish CTL had gotten Boswell a few minutes late, same with vessar. I’m afraid all those minutes for starters are going to hurt us tonight.

Creighton does not have a bench.

Their starters averaged 35 minutes each vs Arkansas last night.

We are not going to be more tired.

Ramey, Tubelis, and Ballo all played less than 30 minutes against SDSU and no one played more than 32. We should be the better rested team.

You'd think this was the championship game the way both teams are fighting in OT. Love this tournament.

Musselman incites the Fuck you Sean Miller response from the refs. It wasn't quite as bad as I was expecting, but clearly they sent a message. Nembhard and Alexander are a great back court and the skill level of Kalkbrenner and Sheierman is impressive. We beat a really good Creighton team. Arkansas is going to be scary good in March.

Arizona just beat a top 10 team with only one freethrow attempt in the 2nd half... probably the most impressive stat i would say.

What we learned from Arizona’s Maui Invitational tournament title
By Brian J. Pedersen Nov 24, 2022, 4:00pm PST

Best big men in the country?

Think last year’s 1-2 frontcourt duo of Christian Koloko and Azuolas Tubelis was imposing? The current one might be even better.

Tubelis started the tourney with a 30-piece against Cincinnati, and might have replicated that had he not got into foul trouble the other two games. Then Ballo came out with his own 30-spot in the title game, a career high along with a career-best 13 rebounds.

https://www.azdesertswarm.com/basketbal ... vers-fouls
But the UA made the win over Creighton a lot closer than it needed to be, going from up nine with 2:21 left to having to foul up three in the final seconds.
The refs had something to do with this with their thumbs on the scales. There were some bad calls against Arizona
that made the game close. Otherwise this would have been a 10-15 point win?
