Anybody read anything into the fact that he started over Zeus vs. Ashley? Maybe Zeus is coming back and Ashley isn't?

He's subbed for Tark all year, right? he's a center? I don't see any ulterior motive there.

Ristic is the backup center. Korcheck is more of a PF.

Tarc comes back, and we get Rabb, and we will be the odds on favorite to win the conference. Again.

We might be anyway...

Even if we lose our entire starting 5 we might be the favorite to win the conference and a top 15 team preseason(if we get rabb).

Any time Korcheck played a meaningful minute during his career it was at center. I wouldn't look too much into it.

And Miller still wouldn't be Coach of the Year.

No next year if we lose our starting 5 and aren't picked to win the conference
..but we do..then Miller would definitely be coach of the year.

Neither do I, just speaking hypothetically. Not sure what teams like Utah, Oregon, Ucla and Stanford will lose.

Utah loses Wright.

Oregon loses Young.

UCLA loses Powell and Looney.

Stanford loses Randle, Nastic, and Brown.

Oregon loses Jalil Abdul-Bassit, Anthony Piganelli and Young as seniors.
Stanford loses Brown, Bullock, Morgan, Nastic, Randle and Ryan.
ASU loses Barnes, Gilling, and McKissic.

I was just listing "significant" player losses. Some of these guys haven't made much of an impact.

And no one mentioned ASU.

I just went to the top teams in the finish. Bachynski is a significant loss for Utah.

Apparently I have been blocked from Miller's twitter for over 2 years

I went to view his feed from my PC, and found this out. I use a third party app for twitter on my phone so I can still see everything, but after doing an advanced search apparently it goes back to 3 drunk in-game tweets during the Lyons era lambasting his offensive schemes, no profanity even!

Maybe that's what happened to Machina?

Winger posted this on Scout:

First coach to win Pac 12 by 3+ games since Howland in 2007-08 (second consecutive year)
Only Pac 12 coach with a Top 10 AP Poll OOC win (Gonzaga #9)
Only Pac 12 coach to win an OOC tournament (Maui Invitational, second consecutive year)
Only Pac 12 coach with 24 or more wins (28)
Only Pac 12 coach to go undefeated at home (17-0)
Only Pac 12 coach whose team is currently ranked in Top 15 (#5)
Only Pac 12 coach to win 20+ games ATS
Led Pac 12 conference in scoring differential (+17.7)
Led Pac 12 in offensive efficiency
Led Pac 12 in defensive efficiency
Led Pac 12 in offensive rebounding %
Led Pac 12 in defensive rebounding %
Led Pac 12 in ATS win % (64.5)
Led Pac 12 in home attendance (all time McKale record)
Beat conference #2-tie Oregon/COY/POY by a combined 52 points
Beat conference #2-tie Utah by a combined 24 points
10 of 16 Pac 12 wins were by 20+ points
Will sign the conference's #1 recruiting class
Only elite conference (SEC, ACC, BE, B12, B1G) coach (other than Self, I misread the AP COY for the true B12 COY) to win his conference and not be COY 2014-15

Miller just needs to take off the gloves and quit being so classy. He knows which coaches dont like him(apparently a lot of them).

I am sure in his day he could talk a lot of trash. Maybe it's time to fire up the talk in those post game interviews.

Na. i'm good w him just going about his business and continuing to murder everyone else on the recruiting circuit and on the court. Years and years of dominance and double digit blowouts hurt them more than stooping to their level w petty words. He can voice his general anger about his men getting snubbed without calling coaches out directly

Miller used a time out to take both Zeus and Ashley out of the game at the same time and they both got hugs from Miller.

Yeah, that's why I'd started the whole curtain call thread before it turned into what it turned into. Miller actually went class by class with separate curtain calls for TJ and Korcheck. It's pretty pregnant with meaning in terms of the future, IMO.

or will the 75% Arizona crowd go home disappointed from Staples/MGM yet again?

This. The UCLA game is huge, not only for PAC12 tourney but for our mindset going into the NCAA tourney. All demons will be exorcised if we beat UCLA and win the PAC12.

The Ucla Pac 12 tournament hump needs to be broken. We're 1-5 vs. them in the tournament since we last won it in 2002. 5 losses by 32 points total.

We're taking them down tomorrow, with or without Looney, by 10 points minimum. Too focused for anything else. Especially after that first half, we are going to come out strong tomorrow
