Damn, if it's curses and fates, why am I even watching?

May need to put this in the Things That Piss Me Off Thread.

Regardless of the #3 seed prediction. I'm wondering why anyone would follow Boivin on Twitter. She's brutal. The next big story she breaks will be her first.

Because she said the gap is closing.

Serious question, GCU has 2 years left of probation, do they make the tournament before Tempe? They finished 2nd in the WAC last year.

Lunardi has Arizona as #2 in the West in his first Bracketology.

Sorta feel like that's our ceiling this year. We'll eventually be seeded somewhere 2-5.

UNC is legit. If they're healthy in March, they'll be scary.

Don't understand how there can be ceilings when not one team including U of A has played a meaningful game.

I mean look at all the experience Cuonzo has had in the tournament. It should be a lock to the FF for them

Come on, bro. When you've followed this team/program/sport as long as I (and presumably you) have, it's not too hard to get a read on a team's best case and worst case scenarios. A 2 seed in the freaking West would be a major achievement for this AZ team, when we lost four starters and have so many new guys in the mix. Do I think it's impossible? No. Unlikely? Yes.

Hope we can play them this year. I'm still mad about the 2007 home game. Waiting outside starting at 6 a.m. in 25 degree weather to get a terrible nosebleed seat in the student section only to see us get blown out by 30 in lutes last season

Bayless wasn't on that team. He played in '08 under O'Neill. And Jordan Hill wasn't even getting minutes until midway through the conference season. But yes, still some good talent on the roster with Shakur at the point his senior season. Very underwhelming. Marcus Williams was a cancer his sophomore season. Carolina ran us out of the gym.

7 P12 teams in total, with USC & UW in play-in games.

And Cal is not one of them. Not sure what Ivan is being the 'start' of....

A lot of those rankings make no sense, lol. Butler (a top 10 team with three huge wins before two losses to Xavier on the road and Providence, who both should be top 10 teams) is the 6 we play with the other 6's being South Carolina, Oregon and Pitt? The only other 2 seed I rather not play than Kentucky is Virginia. That's probably the toughest road to the Sweet 16 and the second toughest to the elite 8. Maybe the toughest when you look at the totality of it all.

Where is the West region final played? Spokane or Denver look like the best first round locations.

I'll bury this here: sometimes great March runs occur when you least expect. The top 5 are losing more than ever. You never know. You never know.

AZ down to No. 7 in the Midwest (starting play in NY against Washington) in USA Today's projection:

A 7 seems about right as of now. Beat uw and have a good home stand against the LA schools and asu and we're back in 4 seed territory.

I don't think it's possible to play the first round against someone in your conference.

Yeah - Pretty much a joke. I think they do their brackets before they go to bed and are afraid to go out on a limb and say we are going to win being a late night game. This way they look good when we do lose.

".....there is no such thing as an east coast bias!......we moved Duke all the way down to a number five seed just to prove it."

Thank heaven these aren't real seedings, otherwise the game this Saturday would be considered a play in game.
