We played arguably our worst game of the second half of the season vs. UCLA a few weeks ago, and still won by 10.

If we play anywhere near what we're capable of, we should win this comfortably, regardless of the refs.

And I hope our guys would like to exact some revenge for last year.

The problem isn't officials its that UCLA's zone defense had a lot to do with that second half 0-17 scoring drought - and that was with a McKale crowd. Teams know they can pack in the paint and take away the lane, force 3pt shooting to beat them. I'm sure we'll see plenty of zone again today so team is going to need to be 'on' their offensive game. York has been shooting and playing well lately so maybe we're turning that corner

Our 6th all time 30 win season and third under Miller equalling Lute(to be fair for 14 of Lute's seasons there wasn't a tournament and a chance to get a couple extra wins).
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

i'll just go with fuck asu.

He's 90-16 the last three years and he's getting better. There may not actually be a ceiling.

So Miller has 3 30-win seasons in 6 seasons with a conference tourney, and Lute had 3 in 11 seasons with a conference tournament.

We make it to at least the Sweet 16 and Miller would have won 30 this season without a conference tourney as well.

Hansen Sr.:

You can’t stop yet to appreciate what it takes to win 30 games. Do you realize Miller has already won 30 games three times at Arizona? Olson won 30 games three times across 25 years.

The only other Pac-10/12 era coaches to win 30 games in a season were UCLA’s Ben Howland and Stanford’s Mike Montgomery. Both did it three times. It’s the most exclusive of all clubs in Pac-12 basketball.

I actually found someone that agrees with RockyR. Master Arizona troll Jon Wilner:

http://blogs.mercurynews.com/collegespo ... -report-2/

*** Best coaches

1. Wisconsin’s Bo Ryan: A master tactician who has assembled a perfect roster for his style of play.

2. Oregon’s Dana Altman: An expert when it comes to assimilating new players and molding a team that gets better as the season progresses.

3. Virginia Commonwealth’s Shaka Smart: It’s March. He’s Shaka.

4. UNC’s Roy Williams: The Tar Heels aren’t what they were a decade ago, but Williams’ resume (two titles, seven Final Fours) requires that he be included here. (Honorable mention: Arizona’s Sean Miller.)

Some people really swung and missed about the refs.

I thought it was very good on Miller to hush the crowd booing Scott. Not the time or place to boo Scott.

I was SO hoping that this moment was on TV.

I had crept down to the court in the corner so I was within 70 feet of this as it happened. And you're right - Miller was classy in EMPHATICALLY waving off the boos.

Which (in my opinion) were 100% warranted & I quit when he waved us off. (but my voice is still mostly gone today)

The point though my man - and I'm trying pretty hard to be pals - is, the 'Sean Miller's ceiling' thread is the WRONG place for this. Your post would be better placed in a, "Sean Miller's Grace" thread. Because that's what it was. Fucking grace. & it was classy. & the crowd did stop then.

Also - not really a part of this thread either - but a few moments after that scene when TJ took the mic and said, "...we have the Best. Damn. Fans. in the Country!!" was my by far favorite moment of the night. And I wasn't tearing up when he said that I swear....some massive wind blew through the joint and I got something in both of my eyes right then.

Publicly, when would that time and place be?

Sean owns this conference over Scott, not the other way around. It was a long-awaited and well deserved catharsis for UofA BB fans, especially those who actually watched that game and closely followed the aftermath.

I am going to repectfully disagree with you Machina, i thought it was the perfect time and I think Miller appreciated it and fully expected it. Larry Scott has been so disrespectful and deceitful to the entire footprint of the PAC but especially Arizona that he needs to be booed heartly.

The man is corrupt taking lavish salaries and bonuses and charging a 750K support fee to each school while returning a paltry amount of what he sold to the conference as being the ultimate cash cow. He put a code red out on an innocent guy. This man does deserve respect unless you believe corrupt people should not be held accountable

I not only booed him I told him he was corrupt right to his face. In fact I told him 3 times and asked him why he fined an innocent man. When I see him again I will do it again. He is a disgrace and the sooner the conference is rid of him the better

agree with your post and especially this part.

Fans have a right to boo, not a privilege, a right.

Miller waves them off, classy as all hell.

They respond.

Boo him every year. Larry is the one that fucked with the biggest basketball fan base in the conference, if he wants to play favorites, he deserves to get it thrown in his face on a yearly basis.

Sorry, I can't figure out how to embed this damned thing even with the YouTube buttons in the editor :-(

P.S. Larry Scott looks like a weasly little rat to me.....I hate him more than Christian Laettner! Lol.

Go to the YouTube and copy the embed code for example: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9DW71_lN510" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>. Hit the "youtube" button on the reply (right hand side on top of the text box and underneath the emogees). It gives you 2 youtubes () in parenthesis and then paste the embed code in between. Voila.

You get this:
Erlich Bachmann: Richard wrote the code, yes, but the inspiration was clear. Let me ask you something. How fast do you think you could jack off every guy in this room? Cause I know how long it would take me. And I could prove it.
