Because your FRESHMAN year was better than 14ppg, 5+apg, 2+rpg, 1+spg, and a 2:1 ato ratio? (Most of which was spent with a back/hip injury) I agree he needs more time, but he’s getting feedback that he’s a first round pick. The NBA salary cap will probably drop around 20% which directly decreases rookie contracts. Seems like a big gamble for those 163 college early entrants whose stock could increase next year.
