Good news to keep him, whatever his personality issues might be. His versatility as a ball-handler will be valuable next year if Bwill is not healthy enough to play.ChooChooCat wrote:Never a dull fucking moment.
Are we still concerned about this though?97cats wrote:what about being a disruptive, whinny, cock sucker of a teammate?
does that clear it all up for you guys...im in no fucking mood today.
i dont give a fuck how good you are, no player is bigger or more important than the team.
I assume, since he never left, you just deal with it like a coach deals with it.IndianaZonaFan wrote:Are we still concerned about this though?97cats wrote:what about being a disruptive, whinny, cock sucker of a teammate?

Not really. BWill is light years stronger than any other option. Losing him would be a huge blow. It doesn't matter who steps in. No realistic option is close to what he brings.Longhorned wrote:Okay. So, back to being set at the 2 in spite of the injury question.
Sounds a lot like Chris Rodgers. The Tru Shalt set you fee!IndianaZonaFan wrote:Are we still concerned about this though?97cats wrote:what about being a disruptive, whinny, cock sucker of a teammate?

As a middle aged man, I think about this often...but more often I just think about this sport.YoDeFoe wrote:The dumbest thing about this sport is how deeply invested I am in it.

I love it. Thanks for all the clarification!Longhorned wrote:But Romar'd is also a knowingly inaccurate term, since Romar didn't invent the practice and was never its most prolific practitioner. One day in 2005, a poster on Goazcats mistakenly thought Romar went rogue in finding roster space, somebody else believed him, and a term was born.ChooChooCat wrote:Romar-ed refers to an old practice Romar use to do when he was the head man at UW, where he would take a player's scholarship away.StickItInTheyFace wrote:My own lack of knowledge showing here, was Romar pushed out by the staff?Beachcat97 wrote:Well, Barcello leaving feels like a no-brainer. Was he Romar-ed?
From what I understand on Barcello this was a similar situation as Ruben Douglas. Folks wanted him to transfer for more playing time and that won out.
It's one of those rare internet usages that will never stop being funny.

Yes.Alieberman wrote:Can someone make a list of 100% certainty which players will be here and another list of 100% certainty of those players that won’t be.

Yeah that's definitely the vibe I get...should be interesting to see if he actually lives out those concessions. I think he can be a phenomenal player if he does. I'm sure Miller won't hesitate to cut bait if he doesn't turn things around. All-in-all though, I am very happy that he is coming back, and think him returning is better than Woolridge or basically any other grad transfer wing we could have gotten at this point.ChooChooCat wrote:The Doutrive scenario is so interesting, the relationship was so damn damaged, and 97cats provided numerous reasons why on our end. Doutrive must have made some major concessions i.e. quit the bitching, listen to what Miller says, take to coaching, and in turn Miller must've promised a role. Certainly will be interesting how this plays out.
Here's my hope with DD and team chemistry: We've got a collection of guys this season that are either pros in the making (with the type of work ethic required to make that happen; e.g. Nico, Josh, Zeke... even Jamarl and Jordan) or are final-year veterans (e.g. Max, Chase, Stone).ChooChooCat wrote:The Doutrive scenario is so interesting, the relationship was so damn damaged, and 97cats provided numerous reasons why on our end. My thoughts exactly - his flashes last year were damn exciting. And let's not forget these are 18yr old kids after all..sometimes a kick in the ass can do wonders from a maturity standpoint.goslingswagg wrote:Yeah that's definitely the vibe I get...should be interesting to see if he actually lives out those concessions. They're really nothing alike. BWill is a scoring point guard. Puff is a 6'7 wing shooter.IndianaZonaFan wrote:Since it seems like it’s coming to this...how much better is BWill than Puff? On a scale of 1-10?
No one is a similar player to Smith. He's in a class of his own.Spaceman Spiff wrote:They're really nothing alike. BWill is a scoring point guard. Puff is a 6'7 wing shooter.IndianaZonaFan wrote:Since it seems like it’s coming to this...how much better is BWill than Puff? On a scale of 1-10?
BWill is much better for our lineup. Puff is basically a similar player to Green, Smith and Doutrive.
the things I like most about BWill are his passing and defense. I think he did real well in those aspects and he wasn't even a full time PGSpaceman Spiff wrote: BWill is a scoring point guard.
