Wouldn't be surprised if these rumors just come and go and nothing ever becomes of them.

Generally the news is not positive but it's not settled, and in the context, not being settled is a positive.

Business as usual for Trier. Hes back on Instagram but hasnt posted in 2 weeks. Couple fans commented and asked about a suspension as they are trying to place bets in Vegas haha. This was on his snapchat last night

The interesting thing about that post on that site is that the sites owner is posting under that handle instead of his own...and then deleting those very posts. Then creating another twitter handle too...

I'm a pretty optimistic person and want to believe that these "rumors" are a sales ploy to get more subscribers to the PF. I could be wrong. I could be right, but until we find out for sure, a rumor is merely defined as a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth.

I get that people are nervous based on everyone speculating but I'd miller said anything else, i would be more upset.

Over the last week, the internet has been buzzing as there are rumors about Arizona Wildcats wing Allonzo Trier possibly facing a year-long suspension, as tweeted out by many including Arizona alum and ESPN employee Corey Williams.


Williams went on to delete this tweet after being informed that Trier took part in the team’s picture day, which isn’t really an indication of much.

Arizona head coach Sean Miller was asked about these rumors after the Red-Blue Game, and he gave the answer everyone expected.

“I can’t really respond,” Miller stated. “I think you’re talking about the rumors that are out there, and I can’t respond to that.”

Miller said the same when asked if there was a timetable for a decision to be made, and also when asked if it’s disappointing to hear those rumors out there.

Miller did not shut down or say that the rumors are false however.

No. Based on not saying "yes" to the question "is he good to go?" I wouldn't have been upset with "yes." I'm not upset with answer he did give (except that it indicates something is going on).

He was good to go yesterday, and future practices and games until you are told he isn't. If he had said "yes" people would still want more.

"I can't comment on rumors" doesn't indicate anything, except that he either won't give the rumors merit to let the "situation" blow over, or he doesn't want to comment because there is something pending.

Either way, nobody knows which is the case...aside from miller and a few others.
