No I agree that may have been because they were prior teammates but do you really want to show up a prior teammate that is getting little playing time compared to you?
I don’t think he was “showing him up”. As someone else pointed out he likely doesn’t do anything if his team was winning. He was just messing around with a prior teammate. He wouldn’t have done it to Lebron or Luka or Steph. But is he not allowed to have fun with a guy he spent the last two years battling alongside?
The amount of panty bunching on this site is eye-opening. Is everyone here 75+ and spends their free time yelling at neighborhood kids to keep it down when they aren’t busy getting angry on the internet?
Benn shouldn’t have done that. The game was over. Someone, including himself, could have been injured on an unnecessary play. He also put a TO on Dalens stat line. He’s barely touching the floor as is and doesn’t need to have negative stats attributed like this.
Edit: but at the same time I like Benn being aggressive.
Benn is a madman. Every single quote I've seen about him since he got drafted is about how hard he's pushing himself to be the best player on the court.
32 on 29 shots isn’t very efficient. He is certainly the alpha dog to hoist that many shots though.

I saw the Cat said 10-29(above). Maybe he was quoting the date. Your numbers look a lot better. He is a stud

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Yeah, it's much too early to really have a read on ROY. At this time last season, Mobley was the clear frontrunner, and then Cunningham and Barnes gave chase as the season progressed.
But if I had to guess, it'll be between Banchero, Murray and Mathurin.
Against the nets:
Mathurin, who scored 16 points in the fourth quarter, sank a 3-pointer from the corner to give the Pacers a 99-96 lead, their first since the middle of the first quarter.
Pacers won with 4 guys over 20.
