Not sure where else to ask this, but do you guys have any go-to podcasts for either UofA basketball, or college basketball in general? Preferably without Mike Luke. I find him and his voice to be extremely annoying.

Three man weave (the best to nerd out to, wish it was more than once a week)
Cbs eye on college basketball (Parrish and Norlander)
The Mark Titus show (not as good without Tate)
Field of 68 after dark (Dauster, Goodman, Fanta......)

These guys have Brian Jefferies on regularly
Scheer has a podcast with his wife. Sometimes has good info but it's kind of cringe too
Another UA specific pod

Wildcat Country is the best

Wildcat Radio 2.0 good

Wildcast is okay. If Lev talked more and Spears less it would be really good

I listened to Wildcat Scoop with Scheer and Shelby once. They need an editor, but then it will likely only be about 8 minutes long.

Let's see if Tommy can stay undefeated in Vegas this year!!
Yikes. That's a mid major mentality there.
Well you schmucks are averaging 7 to 8 losses per season and had 6 the year you won the NCAA tournament. Say all you want about the big 12, but our non-con slate of games might be the most difficult I've seen a high major team play in quite a while. We play 4 of the top 5 preseason ranked teams, according to Gary Parrish,(Purdue, Duke, FAU, MSU) plus Alabama, who was #1 most of the year last year, and Wisconsin. Colgate was a tournament team last year and Belmont is no slouch. We return 2 starters and our 6th man, and we have some exciting transfers, but we aren't paying 4 mil for Hunter Dickinson. So you got us there. But maybe we didn't take him cause we already ran circles around him.

I don't think it's mid major mentality, it's a reasonable person's appraisal of a difficult schedule with a group of players who mostly have had relatively little time together.
Schedule smack? Check out Kansas's schedule and I expect to win all of them because we're Kansas. You Arizona fans haven't won anything since 1997 and now have to walk in to a real conference which you will probably perennially finish 3rd or 4th behind Kansas, Baylor or Houston.
Hmm, what happened fuegs? You already dropped a game to the Illini
We talking about a scrimmage?

Thanks!

I knew Sean got there, but man, going on 10 years.

They don’t give out trophies for being ranked #1, but it does give some measure of where you are as a program. It’s remarkable, imo, how quickly Tommy Lloyd has brought us back to national prominence. Not to mention the fact that so many doubted whether he was even the right hire.

Good. It's his team now (not that he's going to override Pelle or the uber experienced Sr. transfers) and getting our bench players quality looks will be important in every low-pressure game. Love how well integrated this team is, and back court leadership is key to keeping that going.

Take a look at our final dunk by KJ. Kylanjumped higher than I have seen in awhile and sprinted to the court. Didn't look too hurt. LOL

Kansas has its first real test this week (vs. Kentucky), so potential to move even higher.

I mean, we largely control our own fate this year rankings-wise. If we somehow make it to Pac play without a loss (or even with just one loss), we'll be top 3 or higher.

Anyone else concerned about Bradley’s production so far? After watching these first 3 games…the Southern game especially…he looks overwhelmed and out of sync. At this point I would play KJ over him…am I missing something? What does he do that KJ doesn’t?

Shooting 27% FGs and having an A/TO ratio of 2.0/2.0 sure isn't inspiring any confidence in him.

His handles seem a little suspect too.

Doesn't seem that long ago that national pundits were saying he would start over Boswell.

Well CTL expresses full confidence in Bradley, and frames his struggles (my term, not his) as expected adjustment and growth. He is often reminding reporters that this is what is expected in the early season.

When discussing Love, he praised his effort throughout the game, and hinted that anything else was also part of the adjustment.

I am reassured by those comments. BTFD!!!!

Current PER's (minimum 10 minutes played):

31.0 Filip Borovicanin
29.3 K.J. Lewis
27.4 Kylan Boswell
24.2 Keshad Johnson
22.7 Pelle Larsson
21.9 Oumar Ballo
21.4 Motiejus Krivas
15.5 Caleb Love
15.0 ------ average D1 player by definition
14.2 Conrad Martinez
11.8 Paulius Murauskas

Bradley's minutes should be limited in my opinion too. But three games into a career is way to early to really sense potential. I don't think Boswell really blossomed last year until the calendar flipped in January. Then, by the end of the season, we all saw the huge upside. And so far this year, Boswell hasn't disappointed. Would be great if Bradley followed a similar pattern, and certainly not out the realm of reality.

His shooting is a limiting factor but if he plays good defense and distributes the ball better that is what we want from him as well as an occasional drive to the hoop.

I think Bradley just needs to adjust to the system, and grows with the team. I believe there will be a time it clicks and he will be okay. I don't think he will be another Adama Bal.
