I want to respond to this fire the simple fact that 97 was the creator!!
But I agree withthe shooting numbers. His shooting with definitely open up the floor for a team that people already believe will have shooting problems.

Best FT shooter over the summer, so that's a positive...unless the rest of the team sucked as well.
I tend to think that Zues is the most important player this year.

Nice to see you around again 97.
With TJ's shooting, I'm mostly curious to see if his free throw percentage is back where it belongs. Hopefully after playing a year here he can be more relaxed at the line, or whatever it was that was throwing him off. It seemed to be a disease that spread to the whole team last year.

I'd like to see more lift on TJ's set shot. Then again, it would no longer be a set shot. Never mind.

40% on treys. 80% on FTs. Is the other one FG%? That would be a career low. How about 4:1 ... a/to.

McConnell's assist/TO ratio, defense, leadership, intensity, intangibles, effort, and experience were already ever present in Tucson last yr -- sound mind has to believe all those traits will be there again, only better.
its the shooting consistency that vacated his game and haunted the Wildcats last yr; from RED/BLUE through Wisconsin.
shore it up, and see you in Indianapolis

There's been a lot of talk about who will be our leader this year, and I think without question it's going to be TJ.
Probably the most important player on our team this year.
I look for him to fill that Nick role in terms of leadership this year. Tarc and BAsh are more "follow my lead" type guys.

Huh? How would that make sense?
40 FG 40 3pt 80 FT has to be what he meant (and how everyone was interpreting it as). I think if TJ hits 40% from three then we can expect a little higher overall FG%, something like 45% would be pretty awesome.

Plus he has to run the baseline of the 1-3-1 zone defense at full speed during the 40 minutes.

Have to believe TJ got the first year jitters from playing in the big time out of his system last year. It's now his time to lead us to the promised land. This is our time.

Damn!
Sure is going to help that he's on the bench this season. I think people get caught up in the "Miller's point guard" thing. But, obviously, Damon was (is) no slouch.
