OK, as the season nears I think it's an important analysis of our team and ourselves to do the sandwich exercise.
Q: Who are your starting five Wildcats for this year and what sandwich is each one, and why?
For the record, I think RHJ is a toasted sriracha chicken cheesymelt on panini bread but I don't want to skew the results.

McConnell - Turkey & Provolone (light, zesty, filling, but not too filling)
Johnson - BBQ Tri-Tip (heavy, tough, damaging)
Rondae - French Dip (not just roast beef, dipped in a sauce)
Ashley - Chicken Parm (everyone's fav)
Zeus - Meatball (old school, hit the ribs, doesn't look special, but is)

TJ McConnell: Cured salmon and cream cheese on toasted rye with fresh dill, capers, red onion, tomato, salt and lemon pepper
Stanley Johnson: Corned beef and mustard on seedy rye
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson: Bologna on white with mayo, American cheese, and iceberg lettuce
Brandon Ashley: Smoked sable with cream cheese on toasted pumpernickel with sliced green olives, arugula, and tomato
Kaleb Tarczewski: Hot chicken Kiev with fresh parsley on a toasted, buttered Kaiser roll

Are TJ and Stanley Johnson Jewish?

No, but some would argue that, due to his chosen fraternity house, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is the "most Jewish" on the team, which doesn't explain his sandwich selection, either. I hope that helps.

From what I heard from the secret scrimmage, they were all loafing and got toasted on D.
As I recall, Kirk Walters was Beef and Cheddar. That's America's Roast Beef, Yes Sir!
