There are two victories that came with the initial post in this thread!
Great news posted by greater news!
When this is all said and done, this place will be a beacon of light.
And that's not hyperbole.

OK, 97...tougher question.
*IF* CSM is putting the writing on the wall for Dorsey...what damage will that do to relationships in Cali?
It all feels a bit too much like Howland and Kendall WIlliams, and that ended up (4 years or so later) to be the end of Ben Howland at UCLA.
And my unsolicited opinion - commitments are two-way. If you accept a kid's verbal commitment, you're making a commitment to that kid, as well. I hope CSM agrees with that.

It sounds like there are some issues with buy-in from Team Dorsey if I'm reading between the lines and possibility of JT/SJ flashbacks from Miller.

“Most schools like me at both guard spots. I can play point and I can play off the ball,” Trier said. “I’m not a guy who is going to bring the ball up every play, but I can run your offense and handle the ball. All the schools like how I can score, like how I get after it defensively and like how I can make plays from either the 1 or the 2.”
Hopefully it won't be long until Arizona is right where it wants to be for Allonzo Trier.

Glad to hear a great-shooting gunner has strong interest in Arizona.
Trier really sounds like an excellent complement to Simon/Smith.

That report isn't true at the current time. Doesn't mean that it won't happen.

Kid seems like just a pure scorer, which should compliment the rest of the team nicely. That step back jumper in the first video is just deadly. Seems like he has no problem creating his own shot, and has a solid handle.
I'm all aboard the Trier train.

Kid can shoot and get to the rim. Very cool, but love to see his passing skills.

Hard to tell from just a highlight tape, but I think he would fit in nicely with Smith and Simon.

Good news.
Simon
Trier
Smith
Rabb
Commanche
Not sure there would be a class that can top that outside of UK pulling Stone, Newman, Bragg, and Brown.

Trier and Montero----great prospects.
Trier as an accurate j threat at distance.
Montero---what a revelation. Outside, inside, and possible development as a 2/1 combo. Thornton-like quicks. Sweet handle. Surprising balance and overall body control; and ultra-quick step back on the fall-backs. Can't wait to see him in July. Anyone know his AAU team?

I know you're very informed, Gato, so I'm disappointed we're no following him. I was going on the zagoria piece and the numerous vids:

I know you can't trust the vids a lot, which is why I'm going to find him in July.

He's a JUCO player (he doesn't play AAU) and I don't think Arizona will be in position to need a JUCO guy to fill a spot. I imagine a certain coach on our staff has talked to him much like he did with that Keith Thomas kid from the same junior college, but that's about all it is and ever will be.

Evan Daniels @EvanDaniels 40m
Five-star Justin Simon measured at 6-4 3/4 without shoes and a 6-11 3/4 wingspan. Pretty ridiculous measurements for a PG.

Uh wow.
So in shoes he'll basically be 6'6" with a 7'0" wingspan?
Good lord.

Defensive Monster. Needs to pack on some weight (Rounds will do the job) and improve that jumpshot

Chase Jeter lists Arizona as one of the four schools recruiting him the hardest:
http://zagsblog.com/articles/chase-jete ... g-hardest/
Arizona: “Arizona, I like the location, I like how close to home it is. Coach [Sean] Miller has done a great job with the program. I have a great relationship with Coach Book [Richardson] and also their facilities are top of the line and their strength and conditioning programs are out of this world.”
