I think Gene's misses would definitely put him #1.

Image

I would also put Jesse Perry on both (on/off court) lists. I really have to admire undersize players playing their heart out.

Image

So would probably put Jason Gardner near the top. Unreal 38 minutes per game.

Hassan Adams too, as an undersized player taking on bigger guys and doing well.

Like to recall Tom Tolbert too as a bad ass on the court.

Others deserving consideration:

Jesse Perry
Salim Stoudamire
Joseph Blair
John Belobraydic

And Rolf Jacobs threw a mean punch...

Parrom has got to be way up there.

Ty Abbott, "no easy buckets".

Got freaking shot in NYC and came back to play hoops at a high level.

Badass.

Where will Pastner be?

I'd chuck Damon on that list. Being such a dominant player and sub 6 feet takes a badass.

More interested to see the top ten fatass countdown.

Hogging face time in front of the camera when the rest of the team is announced?

Tempted to add Steve Kerr, who was a badass in that post-assassination game.

Michael Wright = baddass

Womack also deserves some consideration imo.

Good call, another undersized player who had a very nice game. Always count on him for 15/8. Not bad a guy who was only 6'7".

I nominate Kyle Fogg. A guy who should have been the 10th man on a typical Cats team was forced to be a major contributor and starter and way overachieved in my opinion

Took a lot of crap from people too

I'm beginning to think I used the wrong criteria for my picks.

Womack was one guy i would say and another is John Edgar. The guy was 6 feet, six inches and went up against centers.

Agree that EE would be #1. Sean Elliott deserves some consideration. He gave pretty good against supposed defensive specialists. Otherwise I agree with Gumby's list.

I always thought Anderson was a Badass. Fairly unathletic but by that 5th yr, total babass on a badass team.

Michael Wright and Bison Dele. Badasses.

Thought about Williams. Never was as much of a badass as I thought he should be though. I know that makes no sense but it struck him from my list.

He didn't really have much passion for the game. . . he felt (this is my understanding anyway. . .) that as a tall, athletic guy he was obligated to play b-ball.

If he had the passion he would have owed the NBA, MJ style. . . *sigh* :(

I'd have to see how badass is defined for the purposes of this countdown.

By any definition, Michael Wright was a great mention. That dude was a man

Who was the Euro Lute kicked off the team? Not sure if he was a bad-ass, but more of thug. Ended up setting the world dunk record on a 12' rim.

I remember when he retired from the NBA he said he never liked the game. He was just good at it.

He really could take over a game if he wanted too though, which was pretty rare.

Parrom is #1. Has to be. The dude suffered as many injuries and traumas as anyone, then came back from being shot.

If if you don't consider No Easy Buckets one of the greatest things ever, which I do, in the spirit of giving the finger to any circumstance trying to hold you back, keep you down, Parrom has to be tops.

I don't know exactly where I would put him, but you know that guy who set that monster pick? I think he was a walk-on. Bryce? Brent? Definitely a bad-ass.
