Do you mean 11 am Pacific? Game is at 2 pm eastern.

My firm is largely made up of basketball degenerates. Complete with TarHeel, Blue Devil and now BSU bandwagon representatives. Games will be on all day in the big conference room. No meetings allowed to be scheduled in there. We all have cable in our offices too so I'm good.

My boss asks me every Monday following Selection Sunday when Arizona plays, and it's just assumed that I won't be here that day.

Thursday

Aside from a No. 1 NCAA tournament seed, Arizona coach Sean Miller and the Wildcats may have received everything they could have possibly wanted from the selection committee Sunday.

By going to Portland, Oregon, as the West Region’s No. 2 seed, opening with Texas Southern at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday, the Wildcats will first face the kind of smallish, perimeter-oriented and almost-Oregon style type of team that they are capable of crushing with size and athleticism.

If the Wildcats win that game, Miller might get a chance to revisit old buddy Thad Matta of Ohio State on Saturday, and maybe get some revenge for the Wildcats’ 2013 Sweet 16 loss to the Buckeyes. And if Ohio State loses to VCU in its first-round game, scouting shouldn’t be a problem: Miller’s brother, Archie, just lost to VCU in the Atlantic 10 tournament final Sunday.

Can't stand watching the Cats at work. We have TVs all over. People strolling up and saying stupid shit. Last year, Weber State took an early lead, and I bolted for a long walk. Memphis State, in 2011, ended up in my car listening on the radio.

Happy we get it out of the way early. I hate being a later Thursday or Friday game. When the upsets start rolling in, I start to get nervous. By game time I'm just about jumping out of my skin.

There are stats for everything. Fully expect to see: "Most upsets on Thursdays before 6 pm Eastern."

I agree. Get it over with then I can enjoy the rest of the first round more.

Thirded. Arizona disposed of Cornell and Robert Morris early and properly during daytime soap time Thursdays on CBS in '88 and '89, and Loyola (Md.) in '94 and our first-round opponent in '01 followed suit.

Later game times just didn't work out well at all for most of the teams except in '97, the exception to end all rules. Looking for a much more routine tournament this time around.

I work from home so any time works well for me!
