Without radios or TV antennae, "tuned" is a metaphor for digital adherence, an extruded media fossil. I stay tuned so I don't have to tune in, and the connectedness wires me to World Wide Web. Come join me.

If this refers to what I think it refers to, we won't hear about it until Rabb finally announces himself to California. So we may be waiting a while (thanks, kid!). If this refers to something else, sorry.

Since I believe you have "premium", and seem inclined to try Jedi mind tricks, I am suspecting that news might be that Rabb isn't necessarily announcing to California.
But way to throw us free-board peons off the scent of the real story.

No, no. There's no premium info on this that's made available to subscribers like me. I'm not joking: There issecret info that will be unveiled to everyone as soon as Rabb commits to Cal, and can't be made public until then because Rabb is still an Arizona recruit. That info will concern how Arizona fills its needs at the 4 in addition to Ryan Anderson. The nature of that info is a cause for wild speculation on the part of lots of people who, like me, just don't know. If you ask any questions about what the **** this is all about, those who know won't tell you, and those like me who don't know just have no idea.

Well then I suppose I can hope that Ashley has told the coaches he is returning, although I won't hold my breath. Short of that, I am not sure what would be too thrilling...
But if that were the news, I highly doubt that the staff would sit on it until Rabb announces his decision.

Gotta love all this cryptic shit
Either spill it or don't. Nice way to toy around with people right around the time some of us are still reeling from the Wisconsin loss and losing our best remaining recruiting target (assuming we've lost him). I mean real nice.
Can't you at least deign to tell us mere mortals who don't have any inside info or the money to pay for premium somewhere if this is good news or bad news?
Chocolate graupel. We had vanilla graupel yesterday.

Premium is starting to unfold some specifics. There are now things that subscribers know that not everybody knows. Stay tuned.
About a month before my 11th birthday, my dad told me I was going to get a present that does everything.
"Everything?" I asked.
"Everything," he said.
My imagination went wild, and I could hardly sleep with all of the anticipation. I specifically recall my decision use this omnipotent, forthcoming gift to switch over to a large, perfectly shaped afro. And finally, the art of the slam dunk was no longer out of reach.
When after long last my birthday arrived and I sat at the kitchen table with the wrapped present right there in front of me, I asked one more time, "It does everything?"
"Everything," he said.
I tore it open. It was a digital watch with a calculator. You could set a beeping alarm. It had a game where you press a number corresponding to the digit on the screen.

I'm all-in, Lieb. I have two GrandDaughters with me for a few days, one 3 years old and the other "almost(!) 5". So, I'm totally tooned.
Also, I've asked the ladies to let me know if they hear anything so I can share it immediately with the Bear Down Bros and Sisses. Meantime I'll stay tooned.

All right. What I'm about to say is crazy and I don't believe it myself.
Here's how much I don't believe it. I made a 50 dollar wager with a friend at the Pac 12 Tourney in Vegas AGAINST this happening.
This story took place at Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas - the absolute best Thai food I have ever had - and they have 3 James Beard awards to back that up.
Everything I'm about to tell you is true.
We traveled to Vegas for the Pac 12 tourney and before the Oregon game decided to stop at Lotus of Siam for dinner.
While we were seated a guy walked by us, noticed our Arizona gear and said, "Bear Down, hope you guys win tonight!" We said thanks, and then he said something really interesting, "I sell Stanley his shoes in Cali and I'm telling you right now he's coming back next year. I text the guy nearly every day, and I guarantee you he's coming back."
He continued on to the bathroom and left us all with our jaws on the floor. Many of us (me included) said there was no f'ing way this was happening. It was clear he was going to the NBA after his freshman year the minute he stepped on campus.
Let me describe this guy, just in case any of you know who I'm talking about. He's over 6 ft tall with a hipster beard and dark rimmed glasses. White, between 25-30. Medium build.
He passed by our table again on the way back and showed us his phone. The text thread was to Stanley. "See, this is my text to Stanley "You better win tonight, I got $ on the game. Cover the 12". Stanley's text was "No pressure, bro". Stanley's next text was "I'm shaving points lol"
Now it's obvious he was joking, but I don't even like to hear shit like that after Headache Smith, etc. Not even in jest. Stanley has jokes apparently. He's 19. And we went out and crushed Oregon and Stanley had a good game.
But after he showed us the texts and ASSURED us Stanley was coming back and that he didn't care about the NBA money, my friend offered a 50 buck wager that Stanley would in fact come back. I took that bet instantly. It's a win/win in my opinion. If I lose the 50, I win. Stanley is back.
In my heart, I don't really believe what Stanley's shoe hook-up in Cali has to say about him going pro. Hence accepting the 50 dollar bet.
But everything I just told you happened. No joke.
Now....is THIS what this thread is about?

Sounds to me like someone was having some fun with you & you lucked into $50 because of it.
If it were true the only rumblings wouldn't come from a shoe guy telling strangers he just met. Just thinking out loud.
