It's pretty much what I'd expect from a thread about our most important player who has been sidelined for an unknown period for an unknown reason. It was never destined to be good.

Yesterday I wandered into a public bathroom. A man was in the stall dropping a deuce. As I entered the bathroom, he yelled "oh my God, it's coming so fast!" to the background music of splashing water. I turned around and headed right back out.

Good for you. Bc97 would have immediately entered into an argument about how it really wasn't all that fast, babbling incoherent proof that defies the laws of physics.

Good point. I suppose I could have told him that even if the poop hadn't fully exited, it was probably just going to be a disappointing affair that contained more fart that dookie, but not to worry because everyone's had a down day for boweling.

Ace was probably on the set listening.

I do wonder if it will end up being half the season/games. So 31 games, must be half or over, maybe for Utah? one can hope.

That'd be awesome if it was exact and they held him out of the first half to make the 1/2 game remainder. At the 2:00 remaining in the first half mark, have him leave the bench for the locker room. With 1:30 remaining in halftime, drop the lights and start a full video board welcome back, narrated by Steve Kerr. It ends with every All-American saying "Zo's Back!" in quick cuts, ended with an explosion and Lute holding up a ring with "ZO" spelled out in diamonds. Smoke fills the tunnel and the band starts playing the old tip off song, with a laser light spelling "ZO" in the smoke. Zo dances out of the smoke, ripping off his warm ups to reveal a special, one time in the bookstore "Zo's Knows Eligibility!!!" t-shirt. Immediately, he springs through the student section high-fiving the aisle seaters, up and down, exiting onto the floor and a return to the bench, where the spotlight reveals the team has returned during our diverted attention, arms open, wearing "Zo Knows Eligibility!!!" t-shirts and popping the message like a jersey pop for the camera....

....in the opponent's arena.

As Zo does a custom hand shake/bump/dance with each teammate, the coaching staff, Wilbur, AND Lute, the video board rolls a clip of Ace standing by his cars and a plane, smiling, as he says "brought to you by Point Guard U Dot Com. Bear Down!"

A 30 for 30 is announced during the under 12 time out, and the NCAA rules us ineligible for the post season just before the under 4 time out.

As someone who has zero outside knowledge I think tomorrow is one of those games where there is an increased (relatively) chance of Trier's return. First game since the semester ended yesterday

will be a good benchmark game and will help us to better gauge how our guys stack up against the socal schools, even if by proxy. will need lauri to shake off the cobwebs and show up.

btw - the trier rumors are officially insane. there are ppl on like fb / insta live, periscope, snap, etc. throwing out all kinds of rumors coming from "well-connected alumni boosters" among other unsubstantiated sources. dick vitale was also asking about trier on social media and one person who knew said it's PEDs and another said zo flunked his classes. the fake news is real.

We look at a dozen guys who could change the future of their teams -- and also maybe even impact college basketball come March -- when they get on the court. It's led by the top-ranked freshman in the country.
2. Allonzo Trier, Arizona Wildcats
The Wildcats' projected leading scorer -- and coach Sean Miller's likely go-to guy on offense -- hasn't played a game this season. Arizona is optimistic Trier will return, but no one knows exactly when that will be. When the guard does come back, the Wildcats will go from a fringe top-25 team to a team that could do some damage in Pac-12 play and in March. But Miller needs Trier back -- desperately

fair amount of respect for us, even short handed, there. At least in the opening line...moving to -2 is an easy to predict move. If a game is even, it is a coin flip, and 2 points isn't usually going to matter, and for casual money, chasing it with the game in Texas makes sense.

The respect is in us being even vs a decent opponent in a neutral in their home state. Even with our last performance.

Our strengths are the same as A&M's strengths and our weaknesses are also similar. Qualitatively, we have the edge. A&M fans are very confident going into this game but I have a hard time seeing A&M winning the game. I can however see Arizona losing the game (i.e foul trouble, ice-cold shooting).

If both teams stay out of foul trouble and play their best, Arizona wins.

Would love to see some Trier out there though!
