it would be interesting to see the 1st half vs 2nd half numbers.

I feel bad for Tollefsen, but I'd have cashed him out for a Simon/Comanche mix depending on whether we need a 3 or 4 a while ago.

7 points on 3-10 shooting and 7 rebounds the last five games. Its 4 and 3 over the last four games if you take out the Stanford game that was a complete circus.

Humor the old man and tell me what he was MVP of for the 8th time. I don't do KenPom since he starting charging for his services. Was he the AZ MVP, the game MVP, the Pac-12 MVP, the national MVP or KenPom's personal MVP for the day or week?

Game MVP, Dave.

Zeus' play last night encapsulated his entire career. He has a huge problem getting the ball through the rim. Dunk off the back of the rim? Check. Layup bouncing around on the rim and then off? Check, check, check. Travelling call deep in the post? Check. Mishandling post feeds? Check, check.

But even with all the scoring woes, he affects the game in such a positive way. His defense on Scott was really excellent. He gobbled up every rebound in the first half, it seemd. Brilliant touch pass out of the post to PJC for a three at a crucial point in the game. Incredible outlet pass which led to an and one. The way he was hedging on screens and recovering was amazing for someone so big.

I can't find any advanced stats on the game posted yet, but I have a suspicion that when I do I'll find that his +/- was really good. Seemed like every time he went out, CU had a bit of a run. It just amazes me that someone who is so offensively challenged can affect the game so much.
