Jay Bilas giving the Pac some props this morning. Jay Williams trying to say the Big 10 was better this year, then Jay Bilas spoke up and put him in his place.

AZ a 5
Cal a 6
CU a 8
USC a 9
OSU a 10 (although with all the upsets a little worried about the Beavs chances)

Haven't watched UK this year, but they lost to UCLA, which makes them seem very beatable.

They are starting to surge now which makes them dangerous.

Yeah, I mean, we had many chances this year to improve our seed, and it didn't happen. So we're looking at a 5 or 6, and a formidable 2nd round opponent. We'll either fade down the stretch as we have so many times this year, or we'll put up the kind of fight we did vs. Cal and in our last game vs. OR. I hope this team can figure some things out this weekend.

I honestly believe Oregon deserves a 1 seed.
We should be a 5

Selfishly, what is the best route for the "Friday, Sunday" slate of games. I have a wedding on Sat that I can't get out of.

Hope BYU gets in and is in the same region and they need at a Thursday/Saturday pod and they flip us to Friday/Sunday to accommodate BYU.
Only problem is, BYU isn't getting in so it's luck of the draw CST

We'll see what happens. Even on a down year like this one, Selection Sunday is like the closest thing to Christmas morning for me as an adult. lets see whats under the proverbial bracket tree. Coal or the new shiny bike.
Also looking at the schedule, would be unfortunate if CATS get slated to start in Raleigh, now that I am no longer in Durham.

Selfishly looking for us to land in the Midwest, because WHEN we make the Sweet Sixteen I'll be at the United Center cheering the Cats on.

Pulling for this Chi. Midwest CATS Represent.
I'm hoping for a non-west region, favorable 5 seed-path. At least through the first weekend.
Not shedding any tears if/when we are not placed in the west.

I think a couple other people eluded to this elsewhere, but the PAC beating on eachother for the past few months should be so beneficial for all the representatives. Especially us, I'm feeling we'll be bringing our A-game next week against some non-PAC teams. I'm pretty much always positive though, who the fuck knows what will happen. We could even play very well in round of 32 and run into a hot Kentucky or someone that just plays better unfortunately.

Based on what I've seen all season not sure how this team makes it out of the first weekend.

Yep. We'd need some huge games from guys who've been inconsistent this year.

???? Why, this team has been competitive all year. 8 losses by an average of about 4 points. Just need to clean up a few things. These teams won't be as familiar with our tendencies.
No doubt the 32 game will be tough but I don't see any reason. We shouldn't be as optimistic as any other 4 or 5 seed

If we haven't cleaned up those few things in the last 33 games, we won't all of a sudden clean them up in the next two

I get that but I think the relative strength of our conference is better than just about every league out there. We might just clean up those mistakes because the teams we play are just not as strong. Guess we will see

Can't have that streaky Gabe York go 3-15.
And hit some frickin' free throws when they matter.

This is the NCAA tournament. You never know, like when Kansas got beat in the '97 tournament. No one thought they would lose.
