15 years since F4

In that time we've had great coaching, top ten recruiting classes, tons of McDonald all-Americans, and every possible advantage, but we can't seem to get it done.

I was a kid when we made it to the F4 in 01' had a chance to go, but didn't because I didn't realize how special that really was. Back then it felt like we made it to the F4 pretty often.

Are we cursed? How much longer do you guys expect the drought to be? Our are best tournament days behind us?

Love Miller and our teams (mostly), but I think our expectations for our future seasons needs to change.

This was the first time in 2 years a Final Four wasn't in the preseason expectations, at some point you just have to be real with yourself. Didn't have the horses this year.

Everything breaks the way we hope, next year ends the drought.

Every team has a transition year. Call the foul right on Nick Johnson and it only been 2 years. Got some serious talent coming just need some leadership.

If you thought this was anywhere near a final 4 team you're expectations were way off. This was a huge embarassment tonight, but let's not pretend we were anything close to a final 4 team this year with this group. Last 3 years a sweet 16 and two elite 8s. ELite 8s we lose close ones to WIsconsin who were a bad matchup.

We are Arizona. We have high expectations. But we are not cursed. It's not an easy thing to do make the Final 4. This year's team didnt stand a chance, so let's not talk like we are all surprised it didnt end well.

This program has been on the cusp of getting there quite a few times in recent years. Had D. Williams not been in foul trouble during most of the first half of the UConn game or if the potentially game winning three went in, AZ may very well have won the national championship a couple of years ago. Had Ashley not broken his foot 3 years ago, that team may very well have been in the final four (they lost to Wisconsin by one point without Ashley in the game). And going back past the Miller-era, everyone knows there should have been a final four in '05, and probably '03. Historically, a lot of great teams from great programs do not make final fours. If the players keep coming, one of the future squads will get it done.

Cats have 2 marginal NBA players in Zeus and Trier. Transfers tried to fill in some holes but you can't win without a point guard.

This topic is more about our program than this team. We were down this year for sure, but our program has underperformed for a long time now.

Back to back Elite 8s is underperforming? And no team was beating Wisconsin on that night last year.
