2017 PAC - 12 Tournament

It's still a long, long way until next year's tournament, but I wanted to pass out some info that might save you some money.
MGM Resort hotels are going to be charging for parking starting in a couple weeks. Prices range from either $5 - $7 for hours 1-4 depending on the hotel to $8 - $10 for more than 4 hours to the end of the 24 hour period. There's a way to avoid paying the parking fees though. The company is going to be offering a credit card based on their Player's Club card, an mlife credit card basically. Should be coming out next month as of now. If you get one of those it automatically bumps you up to the second tier of their Player's Club and at that level and above you don't have to pay the daily parking fees. However if there's an event at the T-Mobile Arena, then there's still a $20 charge to park during the event at NYNY, Monte Carlo (soon to be the Park at MGM possibly), and Aria. The other MGM properties will still charge the daily rate, but with the credit card it should be free, like if you park at MGM. You can also pre-purchase a parking pass for event parking for only $10.
Also, as of this week you're able to bet on sports from any MGM Resort hotel room, pool, or anywhere in the hotels with this new app that just came out. I believe you still need to go to a sportsbook and set up the account or password. Its still in it's trial stage but it's possible to bet on the games next year while you're in the arena. playMGM is the app for you betting junkies. I think it's good with Apple and Android.
OK, so not basketball related but it might come in handy for next year. If I find out more ways to bypass the parking, I'll pass it along.
