Nice to see him making a living at hoops and having success. Underappreciated "bridge" player for Arizona. https://www.thetournament.com/news/where-are-champions" target="_blank

Myck Kabongo mention. Remember when he was the "real catch" of the Findlay backcourt (as opposed to Nick Johnson)?

August 26, 2015 3:28 pm • Bruce Pascoe Arizona Daily Star

"Former Arizona Wildcats guard Kyle Fogg has taken another jump on the pro basketball ladder, signing to play this season for Ourense Termal of Spain’s second-division LEB Gold league."

http://tucson.com/sports/blogs/pascoe/a ... c976a.html

But, things tend to change quickly sometimes.

Posted by Erik on September 21, 2015.

"Kyle Fogg (190 cm, Arizona’12) has agreed to terms with Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (Germany-BBL) and will be joining the team this upcoming season. Kyle was originally set to play for Ourense Termal from Spain’s LEB Gold, but jumped at the chance to play in Germany’s premier league."

Mustafa Shakur is also playing, for Ludwigsburg, in the Bunsesliga this season. They will meet up for the first time on Halloween night.

Maybe he can share his Euro contacts with Kaleb Tarczewski?

Fogg is playing for "Overseas Elite" in "The Basketball Tournament" - $2million winners take all.

OE has made the Super 16. ESPN announcers are really riding his jock.

Edit: I just noticed... OE was last years champion ($1million prize last year). Was Fogg on that team too? Nice payday if so.

Edit2: I just read the post above that says he was on the team and took home $90,000. Cool.

Fogg is a hell of a basketball player now. Just solid on both ends, as he was towards the end of his AZ career. But now he's all grown up and doing it against men. Hopefully his team or the Bibby squad can win the $2M.

Kyle's #2 seed Overseas Elite team today defeated the Trained To Go team 74-66 and will be moving on as one of the Final Four teams competing for the $2 million winner-take-all prize. They will be playing the #1 seed City of Gods team next Saturday for the right to advance to the championship game. The final as well as the two semifinal games will be broadcast live on ESPN. Today Kyle scored 8 points, had 2 rebounds, an assist, a block and 2 steals in 26 minutes of play.

At the end of the first half Kyle Fogg may have played the best four minutes that any Wildcat has played, at any level - ever. He scored eighteen points to single handily bring his Overseas Elite team back from fifteen down to tie it up. His 42 points for the game is a tournament record - he scored those points on 16 field goal attempts. Unreal.

The final winner-take-all game is Tuesday night on ESPN.

Bear Down Kyle.

While I agree, it was incredible. That's a bit hyperbolic. I mean off the top of my head I can think of Gilbert dropping 60 pts 8 assists 5 steals in Staples and out dueling Kobe when Kobe was consistently getting 50 a night. Gilbert with 50 and the game winner walk away V Utah in 06 comes to mind. Even iggy in the finals last year outplaying lebron for large stretches and winning MVP.

D-Will in the first half vs Duke. Salim v Kansas in Allen field house.

Top 10 probably tho.

And I would argue u could take multiple Gilbert 4 minute spans from that Laker or Jazz or heck even the series where he dueled w Lebron (the series he hit the 3 from the parking lot then missed a ft to lose series in game 6) or the best 4 minute span from Williams first half v Duke or best 4 minutes from salim at KU and it was better.

Having said that Fogg was pretty incredible at end of half other night.

Kyle Fogg has maximized his potential more than any other Wildcat. I remember watching him as a freshman and thinking Garland Judkins was a better option. Guy has developed so much over the years it isn't even funny. It's a credit to his determination and drive.

Well deserved two year deal for 2 million dollars. The very last of the Lute Olson recruits. Four coaches in four years at Arizona then off to Finland, Belgium, Germany and Spain. Now on his way to China to play in the same league that Grant Jerrett played in last season. Two time winner (and competing again this summer) of The Basketball Tournament for nice paydays. Just finished building his fourth school through Pencils for Promises. One way or another, a place should be found for a Kyle Fogg banner in the McKale Center Ring of Honor.

Watched him in TBT with Overseas Elite. It's amazing how much his game has developed over time. As a freshman, he was limited and didn't really have 3 point range consistently. Now, he's a complete player with range.

I still think he's the Arizona player who did the most with his talent. Overseas Elite has won 2 TBT's in a row, and are closing in on 3. It would be nice to add another 2 mil too, I'm sure. Hard not to root for Fogg.

He was the TBT MVP last year and I think he probably will be again if they win it all. He can silently control the game better than anyone else in the tournament, he did it today and he did it last year too.
