The University of Arizona basketball program will travel to Spain in August for a foreign tour, including a trio of exhibition games. The Wildcats will spend time in Barcelona and Valencia Aug. 11 through Aug. 19.

UA will take on Combinado Valenciano on Sunday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. local(10a Tucson) at the Pabellon Municipal Fuente de San Luis in Valencia.

The trip’s second exhibition features Arizona and the Mataro All-Stars on Wednesday, August 16 at 7:10 p.m.(10a Tucson) in Barcelona inside the Pavello Municipal Teresa Maria Roca prior to the final exhibition two days later against Mataro Parc Boet in the same arena.

All three of the exhibitions will be streamed online by FloHoops.com with a subscription required($30).

The program will also do some sightseeing, including visits to Camp Nou Stadium, 1992 Olympic Games sites, prestigious buildings designed by Spain’s famous Antoni Gaudi, Old Valencia among other places.
They want $30 for a stream on FloHoops.com, AppleTV 4 and Roku via the FloSports App but I was just on the website and watched the Kansas/HSC Roma game in full from today.

Too bad Kansas just got around to playing European teams. Cliff Alexander, Perry Ellis, etc. could have been able to get an early glimpse into their futures. At least Azubuike gets the benefit of the experience to supplement his plunging draft stock.

UA gets 12% of every shirt sold due to licensing rights. Goes up to 15% in 2018.

Yes, new rule by the NCAA was put in place this year that allows Jeter to go on the trip with us and play. Fortunate timing for him. Not sure what kind of rules we're playing.

I get to skip out of work early twice this week to see the cats live for the first time in probably 12 or 13 years (since the coaches vs cancer at MSG in like 04 or 05).

Fuck am I excited. Should I be trying to get autographs? Do adults do that? Can I say it's for my unborn son (even if my wife isn't pregnant yet)?

I'm am wondering if there will be many other Cats fans there, what do you guys think?

They could have played this game in an elementary school gym and there would have been plenty of seats.

Eh, goals for right now are just to start the team building process and not get hurt. A test would be nice as a building tool, but we can make it just fine without it.

Randolph was always pretty underrated. He can play with other good players. Not that we need a lot after Rawle and Zo, but he could give us a lot.
