I actually have less respect for him after that statement. If he'd doubled down on the original, I could have disliked him, but at least I could respect sticking to his guns.
Now I just think he meant the original and gave a wussy attempt to change the narrative with a "correction."

Yeah he didn't even really backtrack, he just kinda threw a bunch of words out hoping they'd fall together. That statement was really awkward.

Not that it will ever happen, but this is were the Pac-12 Commissioner should fine to Boyle for comments made about other teams within the conference. The last thing the Conference needs is more takes on the FBI scandal.
On the other hand. Let him talk and take a beating.

Frankly, it seems like a rather Trumpian statement.
Sounds like he's trying to invert the whole furor onto the media and project himself as the more "honest" party in the whole affair.
I really don't know how else he keeps his job. Are there really people in Boulder who are as weaselly as Boyle in their feelings about Arizona basketball? Yeesh.

Did anyone else notice that Andy Enfield pulled a "Miller Time out" with 15 seconds left in the game when they were up double digits?
