He really needs to work on his jump shot to make it in the league as a stretch 4.

Every Sr in college b-ball, on both the men’s and women’s side need to be able to come back. Expand the tourney next year to include this years qualifiers

Yes, a 96 team tournament. That would be the perfect.

Well so many mid major teams might miss it because they lose players as well. Give them another year but also an suit invite regardless of record. For one year be flexible and have as many as needed to realize their dreams of participation

Its hard to get excited for another year of complete roster turnover. I guess now is a good time for a mental break from this team.

ASSu would still be in the play-in game.

Serious question: do all these converging bizarre circumstances make it more likely our freshmen stay?

Softball, baseball, beach, even if you let the seniors come back what do you do with the incoming recruits.?
Huge rosters?
JV squads?

So, our roster is looking like this:
90% or more likely:
PG: Akinjo
Wing: Baker, Terry, Mathurin
Bigs: Brown, Lee, Koloko

Greater than 25% likelihood:
Bigs: Nnaji
Coach: Miller

Less than 25% liklihood:
PG: Williams, Nico
Wings: Green, Ziaire, Walton

That's a lot of openings. Any predictions on our final roster come next season? I would say at a minimum we need one more impactful wing as well as another big and wing (With Baker backing up the point) or PG to eat up minutes to even have a chance at the tournament.

It's March 12. I'm focused on where we'll be slotted on Selection Sunday.

Is Williams likely not to play? That sounds a little presumptive. Is his situation 50/50? 60/40? Does anyone really know?

Any treatment is going to be geared at symptom control, minimizing damage, and hyaluronic substitution

They can use a graft if the joint is that far gone or complete an angiogenic procedure, which is what I believe he did, but risk of future damage is obviously always going to be on your mind. Getting a knee replacement at 35 is not fun

Has anyone ever played sports at a high level after 2 OCD surgeries?

Ray Smith had a different congenital knee issue, but he and his family decided that he would rather walk without pain for decades that play basketball again. He did play a bit with the team when he was manager or whatever position he had in practice.

I feel like you can't actually compete at a high level even with the injuries you and I had, and that we never even noticed because we didn't have talent anyway.

Even if Williams is back, there's no way you can count on him for 30+ minutes a game.

Probably like 20 mins a game would be the realistic ceiling for him, and that's if he's able to play.

If he can't come back (safely) all the way, he won't come back at all. Doesn't make any financial sense if he can't move to the next level and make $$$

Who wants more Dylan???

I'm guessing they have some more details to work through, but will grant relief to winter as well.

So the people that wouldn’t want Dylan would rather have Baker? Baker may not turn the ball over but he rarely added anything of note.

Depends if any freshmen come back, Brandon Williams’ health and the remainder of our recruiting class.

Anyone seen these Wichita St guys we are looking at?

Stevenson looks like the better player, but appears to have an entitlement mentality that may not clash well with Sean Miller.

Maybe it will be telling to see which guard/wings jump on board or if it’s a tough spot to fill. Playing with Akinjo and his rep might be telling
