A boy among men playing like a man! What a great experience for him. I imagine it's better than playing them verses high school kids in AAU, where defense is just a suggestion, unlike Europe where it's required.

Is the staff expecting Kerr to be a one and done or will we get a couple of years out of him? Getting sick of the one and dones and hoping this class at least gels for two years.

We should get a couple years out of him. Mind you he is older than a normal true freshman, so his clock is shorter, but I think we get a couple years out of him.

Glad to hear he's heading back.

Choo or anyone else in the know, is the expectation that Kriisa will see significant minutes as soon as he becomes eligible? Is he good enough to take minutes away from our other rotation guards?

You don't sound confident he's going to be able to suit up for us.

I truly don't know. I do know nobody at Arizona expected this sort of issue. Tubelis literally had the same situation and he was cleared quickly. Kerr also has ex-teammates in the same situation that are eligible as well. It doesn't make sense to any one. It honestly boils down to pure ineptitude (more than plausible) or pure bias. There's no in-between here. If we live in a just world he'll be cleared soon.

Call me a curmudgeon, but if the necessary condition for his appearance in an Arizona uni is a just world then we will never see the guy play.

As soon as he said that I thought to myself 'So fucked it is!'

Hopefully the NCAA doesn't want to be this blatant about it's ineptitude/small mindedness.

It's hard to tell because the NCAA's enforcement motto is "biased ineptitude."

Between that and Covid cancellations...who knows, he may not miss another game. Or the NCAA may screw him over for a while more for funsies.

Choo, any idea where Kerr was going to be in line if eligibility was never an issue? Where will his minutes come from? Was he good enough to be getting minutes now if he was eligible?

He was going to be one of the first two guards off the bench. Honestly I think he will mainly cut into Mathurin's minutes, but I don't know for sure. Yes, he is good enough to get minutes now.
