These are better than the rainbow gradient units but they look so much like Gonzaga and Auburn.

Bring back the gradient....

I like! Red should be Cardinal Red though as that and Navy blue are the team colors.

Classic uniforms are always acceptable. But personally, I'm partial to road reds. I do hope they release some in the future. Regardless, the callback to Lute and the 1988 team is cool.

Disappointed to see the PAC-12 patch.

Well, they're fine; so now that long-anticipated piece of business is complete. Regarding red alternate road uniforms. I am fairly sure the first time we used those was in our initial year in the Pac-10 (1978-79.) We may have worn them in an earlier road game, but I seem to recall from listening to the radio and the comments made at that time that we debuted them in a December non-conference game at UNLV. After eliminating the Rebels from the 1976 NCAA Tournament in overtime at Pauley Pavilion, we whipped Tark by 25 in a 1977-78 non-conference game at McKale. This was at the time when UNLV played in the raucus 6,000-seat LV Convention Center Arena. They had their minds set on revenge, and they got it, with a 38-point drubbing of the Wildcats. I could be wrong, but IIRC, Fred Snowden never wore them again after that. So, the next time we saw them was under Lute in the 90's. For sure, the 1992 Stoudamire, Mills, Reeves, Rooks team wore them. And I believe they've been in the rotation ever since.

Reminds me of posters from the early to mid 90s. Neat.

...was follow the template for the white & blue only just do it in red. Our trend is back to tradition, and everybody seems happy with that. But somebody at Nike or somewhere just HAD to get creative. There was somebody with a Powerpoint slide deck in a really nice conference room somewhere talking with Arizona Athletics types about how revenue streams from fan sales of alternates just isn't quite as high if you only change the colors. So, right when they were on a roll...they screwed the pooch. The best thing to do with these is give them the same treatment Fred Snowden did back in the day and leave them on the hangers in a storage room. But, I'm sure Tommy Lloyd will follow orders. Hopefully, he keeps the use of these to a bare minimum, like the Red & Blue scrimmage and whatever our easiest road game is this year.

Maybe the red uniforms will be lucky to the men's as it has been to the women.

Yeah looking at the red and blue next to each other on the bench at Red/Blue is just WTF. Don't understand why they went a different direction with red. Very strange decision.

The red unis make zero sense.

I have that Miles Simon jersey, game used and signed from ‘97. Easily the best piece of Arizona memorabilia I own.

A-City on University had one pair of the white shorts, hope to get more in January.
