Horrible defenses? Have you watched any Arizona games since about 2010?TheGreatCatsby wrote:Hear there's troubles in New England, maybe Bill Belichick needs a new challenge, making AZ football into a national power would qualify.
Had some time to digest this whole likely Sumlin is the hire thing, horrible defenses he had and personnel management problems especially at qb, still a bit concerned about the retread status, feels like a 5 yr max solution to me, which would be about average anyway...tho if he could win at a .667 clip, would be certainly be a win vs. what we've had.
In related news, I once pooped at 1st and Grant Frys.RondaeShimmy wrote:

You found someone who would take a chance on Ricky Hunley over the top candidates mentioned here.scumdevils86 wrote:found him.jimson wrote:Or maybe some of you are all in his jock simply because he's black?chiefzona wrote:Sumlin would be a home run hire for Arizona. I’ve never met a white guy named Rodriguez, but I guess I’ve never met Rich. Maybe it’s different in West Virginia.Chicat wrote:I’d prefer a qualified African American coach if he’s available and has mutual interest, all other things being equal. How many White guys we had in a row now?
His family is Spanish. Nice racist post...a lot of Hispanic people identify as white you know.mofo wrote:I’ve never met a white guy named Rodriguez, but I guess I’ve never met Rich. Haha ok dude. How is that racist or bad? Good god some people can make up whatever they want to hear. I didn’t know Chicat meant how many “guys who identify” as white coaches have we had in a row...ASUHATER! wrote:His family is Spanish. Go back and read what you wrote. It was way out of line. According to you, only brown people can have Hispanic sounding names. Just stop now before you completely out yourself as a racist.mofo wrote:Haha ok dude. How is that racist or bad? Good god some people can make up whatever they want to hear. Yep, it matters. More butts in the seats the last few years and we have our coach locked up by nowRondaeShimmy wrote:A T T E N D A N C E

Not sure if I'm allowed to say this but the problem with Affirmative Action hires is that criteria often becomes more important than all things being equal, as in a choice between 2 coaches fired from their last stop, one would pick the one without a national championship and worse records. Or in my case, shilling for Hunley, but that has nothing to do with race but his passion and I believe, his willingness to crawl from CA on his knees to coach here and truly give it his all.Chicat wrote:I’d prefer a qualified African American coach if he’s available and has mutual interest, all other things being equal. More butts in the seats the last few years might mean we aren't even looking for a new coach. The RR haters owe a debt to the "bad fans."PHXCATS wrote:Yep, it matters. More butts in the seats the last few years and we have our coach locked up by nowRondaeShimmy wrote:A T T E N D A N C E
Try explaining that to Machina. Those who voted with their wallets effected change....jimson wrote:More butts in the seats the last few years might mean we aren't even looking for a new coach. Yep, more butts in the seats means RichRod is still the coach. With an improved record and improved attendance, what’s the impetus to fire the guy?Harvey Specter wrote:Try explaining that to Machina. I cannot tell you how many times concerns regarding a (sometimes major) product deficiency are met with the retort "Well it cannot be THAT big of an issue because people keep buying our product!"
That response usually comes from beancounter types. Go figure.
The smiley I included might indicate to people that I was playing around to see who would take the bait. I guess I sunk the hook.jimson wrote:Not sure if I'm allowed to say this but the problem with Affirmative Action hires is that criteria often becomes more important than all things being equal, as in a choice between 2 coaches fired from their last stop, one would pick the one without a national championship and worse records. I think they are just parroting off of Scheer's tweet from yesterday.BMalo wrote:FootballScoop reporting Navy coach Ken Nuidjsjfkrndjsj has been an identified candidate by DHR. No triple option plz.
Arizona: Source tells FootballScoop one of the candidates DHR has supported throughout this search has been Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo. A hire is coming soon. Will be interesting to see if Arizona decides Ken is the right man for the job; and if they can get a deal done. Stay tuned…BMalo wrote:FootballScoop reporting Navy coach Ken Nuidjsjfkrndjsj has been an identified candidate by DHR. No triple option plz.
