Nelson is a 6'3", 215, Freshman linebacker from Kathleen HS, Lakeland, FL. A defensive end in high school, Nelson was a long time commit to FAU, but switched to Arizona after getting an offer just prior to signing day. I was unable to find his stats from last year, but since he is one of the lower ranked players in the class I expect him to redshirt and add some muscle this year.
