I think Pandy almost committed. He had what looked like a commitment tweet up for 15 minuted before he took it down. Looks like coaches did a good job this weekend. Did well with Wallace too

I have high hopes for Francisco Nelson and Jalen Cochran at the End or LB. IF we kept Jalen Harris and IF we keep My King, we might actually have some halfway legitimate young pass rushing talent in our program.

So you think he flipped because he wasn't going to get into UCLA? I heard they are pretty confident he can get into the UofA.
In fact I checked with a couple people and they said if you are implying he doesn't have the grades that you are Waaay off base with this kid

If what has been reported is accurate, this is an awfully irresponsible - not to mention crappy - rumor to be spreading.
It really is. At best it's his hate for RR,at worst its, well I don't even want to type that or think that

Were you expecting Chief to say something complimentary about an Arizona recruit??

Gotta give credit where it is due... that is a damn impressive pickup at an important position.
That offer list is pretty crazy; with all the obstacles at this point, this is a very impressive recruit to pick up.
EDIT: He had just committed to UCLA on 1/6, and still has visits scheduled? I wonder how sure we are this is going to stick...
Worth saying again, big pickup.
Not to take anything away from UA's efforts, but this kind've thing, flipping a UCLA commit, just never happens. Wondering if this says just as much about just how expired Mora's shelf life is.

We could use a LB, and a kid of his character. Someone should give his family a call.

Just saw this. According to scout, Ucla never took his commitment as they are waiting for Isibor, who they like more, to decide

Got it, thanks. Explained now. Whether Mora had wanted him or not, he's recruiting well. Recruiting isn't the problem in Westwood.

Perfect example why it is completely fair game for a recruit to renege on their commitment. If they are not looking out for #1, no one is - and it cuts both ways.
Coaches are the only ones who the system is rigged for... They typically get richer while being kicked to the curb - and they are usually fired for doing a shitty job.

Very true. Why are kids committed but coaches are not? Says right on the NLI that you are committing to a school, and not a coach since coaches can leave anytime, but you are still committed.
If I was a 5 star athlete I wouldn't even sign a NLI. They are not required. Just sign the athletic scholarship papers, which binds the school to you, and you not to the school.

Seemed a bit fishy, but I'll take it. Crazy I thought we were gonna get Isibor about three months ago and was convinced My-King was going to TAMU. I'll take it though. We need rush ends badly and Isibor is a great prospect, but My-King can probably help sooner than him. Both very smart and intelligent kids. I think Isibor is planning on going pre-med so UCLA would be a good spot for him to land.

I agree too. If I were a four or five star kid, I would not sign an LOI, and most schools would be glad to have me.
But what about a 2 star recruit? Would refusing to sign the LOI fly?
Kid just tweeted he got an offer from us today. Looks like a good kid and hopefully he wants to come out west and play ball for RR and the cats

He passed for 3,328 yards and 34 touchdowns and rushed for 650 yards and 19 touchdowns. Not a bad kid to pick up this late in the process if we can. Braxton really screwed the coaches over, but Tronti seems like a pretty good prospect.
Yep, best you could do given the circumstances. Be nice to poach from Charlotte

Don't look now but it appears that Oregon may be poaching another player from our class (Cody Shear). They haven't offered yet but they paid him a visit:

Hopefully he wants to get out of Dodge for a few years, but that's a tall order given he's grown up locally during their rise to power and against the lure of playing in front of family and friends . . .
Well he received an Oregon and USC offer so this is good news

Their program is a total mess except when it comes to stealing RichRod commits.
