Coach Knorr is the newest addition to the coaching staff and will be Arizona's special team coordinator. He is a 1986 grad of the United States Air Force Academy where he was a QB and team captain during one of the winningest periods of Air Force Football. Knorr started his coaching career at Air Force and has coached primarily on defense, but has both head coaching and special teams experience. Here are his coaching stops from his bio:
Knorr has to be an upgrade at special teams since for the past 4 years we have managed with a recruiter running special teams and every coach kind of pitching in. Last year, as the quality control coordinator for kicking for THE Ohio State Football was his first year full time focused on special teams. If nothing else, Knorr should arrive fresh with Urban Meyer's brain picked for details for special teams. New kickers and a new coach focused on special teams will at least give us a new look this year. Hopefully, the new look is an improvement.2017 Arizona, special teams coordinator
