Re: RR delinquent bills lawsuit.
Here is the core of the article above.
Remember all that is out so far is CAA's complaint. It’s uncertain exactly how long it has been since Rodriguez made a payment to CAA, but what’s clear is that Rodriguez fired the agency in 2015, after his last contract extension with Arizona was finalized. While CAA acknowledges that transaction, it maintains that Rodriguez still owes them the near quarter of a million dollars for services rendered prior to the two parties parting ways.
Apparently, that $230,000 is just the amount of money CAA says that Rodriguez is delinquent on. CAA also says that Rodriguez owes them another $357,000 in commissions for the remainder of his current contract.
Depending on the language of the contract between CAA and Rodriguez, it might be in Rodriguez’s best interest to settle out of court. If Rodriguez should go to trial and lose, he would not only be on the hook for whatever damages awarded to CAA but also court costs and attorney fees for both sides as well. A settlement might also allow Rodriguez to escape some of the obligation of the $357,000 CAA alleges is owed on future dates as well.

It's a business dispute, that's all. Very common. If you haven't been involved in a lawsuit you haven't been in business. Time to move on.
Re: RR delinquent bills lawsuit.
Chump change to RR. Sounds like some leaches think they are owed and I do hope RR tells them to pound sand. I doubt they got RR the AZ job or contacted GB

CAA is the world's largest entertainment and sports agency. I don't think they went into this lightly giving if it would hurt their reputation.
Just settle RichRod.
Just settle RichRod.
Re: RR delinquent bills lawsuit.
No doubt he should just due to the fact it would be settled to a lower amount and he would, avoid the scrutiny and heavier attorney costs.
I am sure the legalize in his contract points toward the fact he owes something but in no way do I think they helped guide him to this job and RR knows that

Re: RR delinquent bills lawsuit.
RR is no stranger to lawsuits. He's been involved in many of them. Some real estate, some buyout, some unpaid fees or dues. He's lost some, won some and settled some. Had a long-time agent that also centered in many of these. Although that agent recently died (maybe why RR left CAA). If you ever heard the conspiracy stories from WV that RR threw that Pitt game and not go to the Natty, it was centered around RR's agent who had ties (admitted) to college gambling. Thus RR threw the game conspiracy.
Point is, RR has a long history with this stuff

Has Marcel Yates resolved his legal issues yet? Haven't seen any updates since he was hired.
Believe he didn't pay back investors around $900K in his failed car dealership business, along with owing his ex some alimony payments.

Chief has poor judgment when it comes to getting to know people. Not surprising.

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
Re: RR delinquent bills lawsuit.
Did we pursue RR on our own and he was under contract with them? Or did CAA approach us about RR?

Greg Byrne was in ninja mode. You would have to ask him.
