Dixon is a 6-3, 203, Freshman from Sabino HS, Tucson. In both his Junior and Senior year Dixon was team captain, team MVP, and 1st team all-state. Last year he was also Southern Arizona POY. As a Senior Dixon passed for 1177 yards and 11 TDs with 4 interceptions, rushed for 901 yards with 8 ypc and 16 TDs, and caught 47 passes for 564 yards and 6 more TDs while leading this team to the state championship game. He has the size we need at receiver, but as of now it looks like he will redshirt while he learns to play just one position.
1 is the most TD receptions any player caught in a single game last year. The 7 different players who caught a TD pass on the season tied for this record. The good news, one was Josh Kern an actual tight end, so we have that to build on.
