Harris is a 6-4, 230 (+18 since 2017), redshirt Freshman linebacker/defensive end from Desert Ridge HS, Mesa, AZ. Here's another player I am anxious to see his weight change when we finally get a roster update. Harris was a tackling machine in high school with 70 tackles (5 for a loss) and 17.5 sacks as a Junior and 34 tackles (3 for a loss) and 8.5 sacks as a Senior. Harris is expected to back-up Wilborn at stud linebacker, but to be effective in that slot he needs to have added some weight from last year.
Jalen is the son of Sean Harris the outstanding linebacker for Arizona who played from 1991-1994 and then 6 years in the NFL with the Bears and Colts.
