Dixon is a 6-3, 210, redshirt Freshman from Sabino HS, Tucson, AZ. In both his Junior and Senior year Dixon was team captain, team MVP, and 1st team all-state. As a Senior he was also Southern Arizona POY when he passed for 1177 yards and 11 TDs with 4 interceptions, rushed for 901 yards with 8 ypc and 16 TDs, and caught 47 passes for 564 yards and 6 more TDs while leading this team to the state championship game.
We need some more threats at wide receiver. Dixon has the size and athleticism to be that threat plus I love rooting for local kids. He starts the year as Poindexter's back-up. We need our future receivers to start stepping up and making plays.
