Yeah... the idea of playing an SEC team is a great idea... but not Alabama. We should be looking at a bottom half of the standings SEC team.

We already play Mississippi State in a couple years but if we're going to play another SEC team needs to be more like somebody like Kentucky or South Carolina or Arkansas
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

i'll just go with fuck asu.

Who knows how good Alabama is going to be in 12 years, I would expect Saban is gone by then and they could be on a downturn like the years before Saban got there.

I can't even remember 51-52. Now get off of my lawn!

I imagine the UA is making bank on this. Turning into a mercenary team like the directional and FCS schools. Take a huge beat down to support the rest of the AD.

Even if Saban is gone, I just don't see how we can compete with Alabama in 12 years. If we had a young coach who had us on the right track I could maybe understand wanting to schedule this as a goal, but this feels overly ambitious right now.
