88 Alex Lines
Lines is a 6-5, 245, Freshman tight end from UNLV and Higley HS, Gilbert, AZ. He played for UNLV last year in 5 games and now with COVID rules gets to transfer to Arizona and play immediately with 4 years of eligibility. Lines was a top 25 tight end out of HS with 27 catches for 288 yards and 4 TDs as a Senior. He steps into a talented and deep tight end room, so if he is part of the rotation this year he is doing real well.
We now have 7 tight ends on the roster along with a highly regarded tight end coach. The coaches are not only insisting on using the tight end, but also using multiple 2 tight end sets. If we don't use the tight end this year it is the most elaborate fake since Operation Bodyguard.
Here is a HS interview and some highlights:

Very interested in seeing the use of the TE this year. Could be a huge help with our underwhelming QB's if they can be used efficiently.

I'm pretty interested to see how this new offense incorporates the TE's. I'm sort of thinking of how the Pats and Rams used/use them...in the slot or even out wide.
