We all want the win, but if we lose a close hard fought game I won't be devastated since we'll still have a chance for an 11 win top 12 finish season

I have lived and died with every Arizona win and loss since 1982, when Zendejas put a dagger in Jerry Faust and ND at South Bend. I guess that's 32 years.

I woke up at 6:30 this morning. No alarm. Just..BAM..."It's Game Day". I seriously can't remember a bigger game or one with more meaning.

I feel like a lot of you right now. A ball of nervous energy. I'm ready.

Bickley really loves RichRod and Arizona, and says as much as he can in that vein at an ASU flagship station. He clearly is aware at that mental mush that permeates the ASU fanbase. He has been a real treat to listen to on the subject of Arizona football this season.

I work until 4:00 (Las Vegas time, game time 6:00) and where I'm at is about 45 minutes to my house. Have to make a couple of "must-do" errands before making it home. And now to find out the freeway is completely closed that I need to take to get home. Back-up is for miles already and it's not even rush hour. Talk about being nervous. I didn't even bother setting my DVR for the game. Now I'm worried about making it home in time for kickoff.

I just spent the last hour on the phone arguing with an insurance adjuster over the price he was willing to give me on one of my vehicles that got totaled by his client.

He tried to low ball me (they always do) and I ended up getting 2200 more out of the car than he told me was his "bottom price..I can't go any more". My car was near death BEFORE the accident and I was planning on getting rid of it before the 2013 Dodge half ton pick up rear ended me and destroyed it. He also extended the rental car they are paying for by an additional week and a half.

After we were done and agreed on a price he said "..You're quite..uh..aggressive, Mr. Nichols.."

You're damn right I am. It's game day, bitches.

I live in an area where almost nobody cares about college football. I'm about to lose my mind today. 33 years for me. This is the biggest game yet.

Funny thing at work today. I've got a 2 monitors plus a laptop screen (software dev). I went to our other office to pick something up, and the two other devs on my team thought it would be fun to change my 3 backgrounds to all ASU pictures while I was gone, since I usually leave without turning my laptop off. Actually one of the funnier pranks we've had, but the timing is so ironic, for some reason I feel like it's another tiny piece of good cat karma or something.
