The O-Line

Post by qwertyus »

I don't know exactly what's up with them, but they've been getting pushed around alot. I know Ebbele was out for a while this year, and was questionable this week, did he play against UCLA? We got dominated on the LOS all game long, and we rarely got anything going. What's up with that? I thought they were a strength this year! It sure didn't look like it yesterday. We've gotta fix this.

Didn't Mickey Baucus get hurt early in the game?

Did he? That would've certainly hurt us.

Got hurt on the second series and I don't think he ever went back into the game.

That would explain why the line play looked like it did. Hopefully he'll be ready for Saturday.

So does th media down play our lose because our lineman was out! We looked decent and scored on 1 of 2 drives he was playing. So that means we would've scored on half our possessions. Can you say blow out!

On the PAC 12 weekly show Nuiheisal did a nice job showing how we did a poor job of picking up their stunts and other things they did differently to get their lineman into the gaps.

It certainly worked and I would assume other teams will follow that game plan. Big week for the OLINE to see how they handle it

I think as long as they are all there they should perform better. Mickey is the anchor to the line and i can see where the wheels came off a little after he left. I think Lene did a great job filling in, but i imagine was a little unprepared. He is our do everything lineman, and should slide into a starting spot ay G next year. We'll see...

Jacob Alsadek USA Today Freshman All-American. Good man to have when we are losing 3 seniors from the O-line.

Great work Alsadek! He's going to be a beast for years to come.
