Cowing is a 5-11, 175, Senior receiver from Maricopa, AZ. Last year he led the conference with 85 catches and was 4th in yards with 1,034 and was tied for second in the PAC 12 with 7 TD receptions. All of that just got him an honorable mention on the all conference team. Cowing also enters the season with the second longest streak of consecutive starts with 44 games and he can certainly be expected to start Saturday night in the slot.
He may not be our flashiest offensive player and certainly not the largest, but Cowing is the most consistent. He will be auditioning for his next job this year, so I expect to see him make the most out of every catch he gets. If T-Mac draws double coverage look for Cowing to exploit it for some big gains.
