Viney will coach cornerbacks in his first year with the Wildcats. This will be his 13th year in coaching and the last 2 seasons he was the cornerback coach for SJSU. Viney is from Fresno, CA, and played at ucla and New Mexico St.
Gunner Maldonado led Arizona with 40 return yards last year off interceptions.
