Luke is a 5-11, 220, Freshman running back from Canyon Del Oro High School, Tucson, AZ. Last season he rushed for 2,307 yards and 29 TDs leading his team to a 4A State Title. I have a soft spot for talented local kids that want to play for the Wildcats. I hope Luke can find a spot in a very talented RB group. Luke also had an undefeated wrestling season last year going 47-0 with a State Title at 215 lbs.
Dillion Gabriel led the Big12 last year with 30 passing TDs. Noah Fifita had 25, but did not become the starter until the 5th game.
His high school highlights are impressive. Don't know anything about football recruiting, but I guess you can't run through people in Div I like you can in high school.
