Whatever school he's pimping the most, it's the school he isn't going to. That's my theory.

Ah, I just re-read that. I can't imagine why he would tease a fan base he has at least some devotion too. With his dad being a legacy there, why would he do that? That is the stuff Jalen Tabors are made of.

I agree that it seems illogical that he would be teasing Tennessee with all his twitter posts if he wasn't going to committee to them. The only small chance I see is that he is just trying to get his twitter followers up...I believe he has stated numerous times that he wants to hit 10k. Obviously Tenn has a huge fan base and playing to that audience helps build his twitter followers...that's the only way I can spin it with my red and blue glasses. I REALLY hope Chief knows something all of us don't :)

I fail to see the Tabor comparison for that situation considering he never did such a thing.

Either way are you guys aware of the Rob Gronkowski recruitment? He played the Clemson fanbase so bad that during his announcement for Arizona the Clemson scout site actually put up a Gronk commitment article to Clemson because they were so convinced he was going there. If that's the situation we got going on I'll hardly shed a tear for Tennessee.

There isn't a Tabor connection. I'm saying if, after building the UT fan base up, he turned around and committed to UofA there would be a bit of one. Why be a tease?

IMO, he's either still undecided or going to UT. I couldn't fathom him reaching out to a fan base like that knowing he is not going there. And, even if the only reason he is doing it to get 10k followers on Twitter, half of them (the UT fans) would unfollow him the second he committed to UofA.

I'll believe it when I see it. But I'm going on the assumption our chances in that recruitment are over. And, other than the "OKGs" we are racking up, it doesn't look like this is going to be a sexy 4 star filled class. Tezino, maybe?

Tabor didn't tease anyone before he committed to Arizona though.

In regards to McKenzie he's tweeted tons about Arizona as well. The only reason you see more Tennessee crap is because they have a much larger fanbase and they tweet him daily.

Another very big WR to be. RR is amassing a group of huge and diminutive wideouts, they are either 6'4"/230 or 5'8"/170 , any in between seem to wind up on defense.

Nah I think he's being kept at TE. It's pretty obvious Rich Rod wants to incorporate the TE into his offense and he's building depth. Truthfully the only depth at the position will be true freshmen this year. A former QB and a walk on aren't going to cut it.

Merk you have to get some better sources in regards to whether a recruit is average or not. Greg Biggins had a really nice write up on the safety we just got and the guy today is an athlete which means he could wind up anywhere. Not saying our coaching staff is perfect but they've proven to be a pretty good judge of talent thus far. All you have to do is look at Scooby Wright as an example.

The greatest thing about TE's is that they can be switched all around if they don't work out. Stanford has thrived recruiting big athletes

Stanford has thrived recruiting big, athletic, intelligent, 4 and 5 star offensive and defensive linemen. Not remotely comparable.

Looks like Gibson is moving up his date, but it appears we have been picking up steam with him.

Someone mentioned that it could be bad because he hasn't been to Tucson yet. Although, it made me wonder...

We offer 4/5 * QBs all the time. Why is Gibson showing us some love all of a sudden? And so close to McKenzie's commitment date? Could there be a connection?

Hard to get handle on Gibson. Some in Vol land saying they're backing off Gibson (rumors). Know there are posts out there that Gibson recently (May) had off-the-field trouble and even that he was recently suspended from school (some dispute on this). Although Gibson did miss his HS spring game and Gibson did tweet out he had minor setback same time reports came out. Also text a reporter he wasn't injured but that "he couldn't play"
