Re: Texas Tech series
Cool. Nice to actually have a power 5 team on the schedule for once. A historical regional "rival" too. Tech leads the all time series 26-4-2 though. But we haven't played them since 1989.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
i'll just go with fuck asu.

Oh boy, Lubbock.
Texas Tech used to be in the Border Conference with Arizona when UA won it's last sole conference championship.

Re: Texas Tech series
Greg has been talking about scheduling a Big12 team for a while now. It just shows how long it actually takes to get a Big 5 team to go for a home and home. Good matchup, figured it was KSU at first but good still.

2022. The freshmen in that game are currently 11 years old.azgreg wrote:When does the Mississippi St series start?

Doesn't Hawaii still count as a "free" game so that Cats can play 13 games those years + bowl game?

Re: Texas Tech series
Yes but you dont have to. It would most likely be another FCS school that year anyways. While NAU makes sense in the years listed, the games beyond 2015 are not locks so can schedule 1 more home and home or a lower teir 2 for 1. The Scummies havent played NAU since 2012 and might be due to make up some games in btb years.Merkin wrote:ASUHATER! wrote:Our ooc between now and 2020:

Sweet!
Re: Texas Tech series
It would be interesting to see who we schedule for the 2016 open slot. It think we need to look at Big 5 programs. I see that Miami and Kentucky have open slots. If we can't get that done, I think we should keep attacking Florida and schedule UCF or Florida Atlantic.

I love this idea. With florida get some recruits, with UK...a basketcats football fest!
Would love a trip to miami that time of year!

Re: Texas Tech series
I like the idea of playing basketball powerhouses in football. I looked at Duke and Louisville and they were booked up in 2016...Wisconsin has an open 2016 slot. Playing them is a little scary though but might be a good time as they transition their football coach.
