Quickie Vegas report. Certainly some Cat fans here, along with some kind of paranoid looking family groups clinging closely together who I assume will be rooting for BYU tomorrow. Won a little at slots, so I put $100 of it on the Cats to cover. They close Hacienda at 2:30 on Saturday to make it a pedestrian walkway to Allegiant Stadium, so you have to use the back entrance to the parking garage. There's a beer garden between Mandalay and the Luxor that opens at 3:30 for a kind of tailgate.

Counting on you to bring home the miracle win man.

Will the paranoid looking family groups clinging closely together be at the beer garden?

Well, they certainly weren't at the pool party/concert last night by Devilution. Their bass player shook the windows right up to midnight.

So am I as is Jon Wilner.
Wilner said something nice about us?

Going to go book a ski vacation in hell now. Thanks for the heads up.
He sure did, and when someone who generally holds the program in low regard says something nice about it it's noteworthy.
I wish I could trust Wilner’s chops as a prognosticator.

I have been thinking for some time we may just sneak up on BYU and I don't think they're as good as some do. I know part of that may be just because I dislike them so much. Anyway, I woke up this morning feeling a little down thinking oh god its put up or shut up day and suddenly wasn't so sure we would. Then I read your posts and I'm back. Thank you all. I think we're going to knock some people around today.

From Allegiant Stadium...

LOTS of BYU here...pretty much a home game. Enough Arizona fans to make some noise; kind of like a really decent turnout at a road game. Both bands are here. Great stadium with giant picture window views of the Strip. We'll see how it goes.
