AAU exists remember?ChooChooCat wrote:Well looks like Oregon may flip Burmeister at the final hour. If that happens I suggest we blow up the football board for good as there's zero point in its existence. College football recruiting is the most foul cancer ever created.
Tilford has a (step) brother who is also going to Arizona so he was never getting poachedUALoco wrote:Tilford enrolling early means he can't get poached. At least we can look forward to having a big, and hopefully durable, RB in the backfield. That should open up some passing and running options for whoever ends-up at QB. I know folks are down on the Cats, and rightly so, but having a good back would be very good for us.
Ah..makes sense. Does BB have a family member we can enroll for the spring real quick?MrBug708 wrote:Tilford has a (step) brother who is also going to Arizona so he was never getting poachedUALoco wrote:Tilford enrolling early means he can't get poached. Ummm... I am not sure why in the hell posters have been acting like we had a chance on this kid, then. Is it just to make it look like there is something to get excited about with recruiting?RazorsEdgeAZ wrote:Didn't understand why the recruiting sites and Star were covering Adrian Ealy as closely as they did. If so we re in more dire straits than I thought.
Uh, Chief, not to nitpick, but do you always rinse before you wash?chiefzona wrote:Harvey Specter wrote:Ummm... This. The pundits who get paid stir up the bs so you all have reasons to get excited and pay for crap services. Rinse, wash.....repeat.
Where d you think RR needs to finish next year to keep his job?azcat49 wrote:Chief, you keep maintaining that RR will not be here after next year and I am wondering why. Is it because his seat is very hot and you know the talent is not there to pull off a year mandated by GB or is it something else you are aware of?
Myself, I think 8-4. Maaaaybe 7-5 if that includes a top 10 win and beating ASU. Chances? I'd say 50/50. Might sound optimistic, but if the injury bug can return to a more normal level and not take out entire position groups, they could win some games that they weren't expected to. A healthy offensive backfield may have had the team bowl eligible this year. (If Taylor doesn't go down they beat UW. They led Utah and UCLA at half, and then the defense just couldn't hold up after being on the field all night when the offense couldn't keep them off the field. Dawkins got hurt early against UCLA and they didn't have a RB threat against either team.) It's gonna be an uphill climb, though, to win 8.Harvey Specter wrote:Where d you think RR needs to finish next year to keep his job?azcat49 wrote:Chief, you keep maintaining that RR will not be here after next year and I am wondering why. What do you think the chance is of that happening?
Completely agree on the former.azpenguin wrote:Myself, I think 8-4. Maaaaybe 7-5 if that includes a top 10 win and beating ASU. Chances? I'd say 50/50. Scout has JH ambiguously pegged as an "ATH." Rivals ranks him as a DE. I'm assuming the coaches targeted him for the DL where bodies are needed.

Oregon football is so over. This is not the days of yore, Braxton. Oregon football is now mediocrity (at best), with a new coach who went 24 - 25 at his last stop.Chicat wrote:I'm guessing it's the coaches by way of their fansite reporters.MrMeow wrote:WTF does that mean?
