Don’t know. I can say with out a doubt, if this young man trips when pool parties are present and he has a fondness for beautiful young coeds...we have a chance. The name Gronk comes to mind.

Pool parties = prized recruits

Simple math

Well beggars can’t be choosers and we definitely are that. Guess he adds depth. Talk about a train wreck of a recruiting class, wow

Our next coach REALLY needs to focus on getting these guys to stay home. Because if we don't, ASU will probably figure something out. We need an Adia Barnes type of approach to recruiting.

I thought Sumlin was brought in since he had a reputation for building good relationships with local high school coaches, unlike RichRod.

But with a program in decline, with a disinterested fan base, I can see why players leave, esp for programs like Oregon.

Heck, just look at the UO track stadium.

Compare that to the Wazzu football stadium which both Mike Price and Mike Leach had very successful programs.

Well obviously Nike money can buy the best stadium in any sport. You still need a coach who can sell your program, and Sumlin just isn't that for us. Wish we could steel Leach.

Leach was the best non-working coach available. Should have signed him, with a zero tolerance policy for player abuse. Leach, unlike Sumlin, RichRod and Mackovic was never fired for on field performance.

Non working? Leach had been WSUs coach for 7 years

He's referring to when we hired RR. Leach was not working at the time.

Thank's Greg, that is correct. Lots of calls on this board (TOS) for Leach to get hired, but the school thought he had too much baggage.

Can we flip him again? Ha. He scored 6 touchdowns in Texas's last 2 games. We could use a guy like that. With Herman being fired, their running backs coach also may be gone. There were other factors in his decision to go there and know it's a extremely unlikely, but with the crazy transfer portal going on this year with immediate eligibility anything can happen. He'd be a force in the Pac-12.
