Then we hope for 6-6. Hopefully we play like we did this past week. If we do I just can't see us losing both games

Story in the Star today said that Bradford came in because Baker was banged up, and that Bradford had hurt his hand pregame. Said that on the third and fourth down plays at midfield that Bradford made a rookie mistake and didn't hit the gap he was supposed to. Finley doesn't seem to think Wilson plays Saturday. Injuries freakin' everywhere. Gah.

No kidding. If you think that Scooby and Turituri would hardly play and that Anu and Wilson would be very limited and that Jones would be ineffective I think we would be happy with where we are if we knew that was to happen.

Beating the Utes would be a classic November upset. Ahh, that would be sweet! But...
With all the injuries, will need a magical performance for a win. Bear down and bring the magic.

I think Casteel dials up a similar defensive plan as he did against USC. If Utah has to rely on Travis Wilson's arm to carry them, they're in trouble. Booker is a stud but he can only do so much. Utah has a stout defense and should be able to give AZ fits - key word is should. If Arizona reels off a couple of quick scores like they did last week, then Utah is going to be chasing points and they're not nearly as equipped to do that as USC is. The question will be if Arizona can run the ball on Utah. If they can, and the defense can rattle Wilson like they did Kessler, I like the Cats' chances.

Utah center will be snapping with the wrong hand this game.
UTAH (minus-4.5) at ARIZONA: Sure doesn’t seem like the Wildcats can match up with Utah on the lines of scrimmage. But this won’t follow script: The Utes are vulnerable after a tight win in Seattle and with UCLA looming next week. Feels like a RichRod surprise is in the works. Pick: Arizona.

Something with Utah - Most of their wins have been survival type wins. Their weaknesses are out there for all to see. What's to be seen is if the players can exploit them. The coaches I'm sure have already zeroed in on things and now the guys need to do their part.

I just went back and looked at their box scores and you're right. The one thing they are doing is winning the turnover battle. The one game they lost the turnover battle they got rocked by USC. They've been out gained in over half of their P5 games.

Weather has gotten interesting all of a sudden. High of 80, low of 50 with a 40% chance of rain at night.

The stadium was LOUD tonight. The upper deck was shaking during the second overtime. Really glad not just for the win but that the seniors had such an impact on it.

Did it the hard way. Lost starting RB and QB to injury. Lost Mike backer (game announcers said that was the 6th middle lb lost to injury?!). Took it to OT, but without a passing game the Cats chances were nil.
Instead, the Cats showed resilience, toughness. They didn't quit. Another victory over a top ten ranked opponent. On senior night.

Not sure if it's against Utah but we do always play well at home in November against ranked teams when they have everything to lose
We also looked much much better against USC then I thought they would. Finally hit the opposing QB and offense looked good enough to get another win. Last night we played up to outlet max potential given the guys we were missing.
Also ASU is a dumpster fire right now and they are for sure beatable
Who knows its still Arizona football but the team played hard last night which is all you can ask for
Weird but I think like Many of you just had a feeling we would win as it set up like a typical Arizona upset

I did not expect a win last night, but I was much more optimistic that one might be possible after the outing against USC.
Terrific performance across the board, and what an awesome game. Every member of that program deserves tremendous credit for that win; I could not be happier or prouder.
Next week is going to be tough... Especially with even more question marks from injuries.
But IF we can somehow get by the turds, i will be very pleased with this season all things considered. Next week matters a lot. A win gets us to 7-5, RR to .500 vs Graham Cracker, and positions ASU for a losing season.

Game gifs.
Grant has his best game of the year.
Jones also steps up his game.
A team victory requires the offense, defense and special teams to make big plays.
Jarvis McCall and Jamar Allah team up for an interception.
Randall's stat line; 1 completion, 1 TD, 1 victory. Oh, and Phillips takes the victory lying down.
